Alaina’s Ale House - Richmond - Photo album

Had a reservation so was seated right away. Small so recommend making the reservation instead of dropping in. Service was QUICK despite other reviews saying it took a long time. Appetizers were good but a little over priced for what you got portions wise. Food was great! Only downsides were it was -
Food is SO SO SO DELICIOUS!!! Never have had a bad breakfast!! And, dinner time is even better! Great atmosphere, friendly staff and the owner Ryan is great. A must try!!!
The food and menu are excellent. Service is adequate. It's a quiet place, good for kids, decent beer selections. I highly recommend the fried chicken platter.
Great scotch eggs. Not far from the highway so it makes a great pit stop. I wouldn't recommend the lobster roll, everything else was delicious.
Absolutely delicious! Thanks for the two great dishes for our birthday celebration last week.
Stopped for an early dinner on our way to Newport and were not disappointed! Tasty food, great service, easy to find. Would happily stop again!
My family had a delicious breakfast at Alaina's this morning. The staff was friendly, and the food was great. Both kids asked to go back soon.
Sturdy Irish food for a cold rainy day. The scotch eggs were awesome but a bit pricey. Enjoyed it!
Editing a review from 2 years ago-Alainas has stepped up their game even more!! The cocktails were phenomenal, delicious new menu items. They’re really outdoing themselves
Second time eating here in the past two weeks. First time was for lunch. Really enjoy this place. Excellent service, very reasonable prices and excellent pub style food. We had the special prime rib tips with an Asian sauce, vegetables and rice. Very tasty and filling. It’s tough to get in wit
The food was good and the service was great. Unfortunately it's a bit loud, so if you are looking for a place to chat and such, it can be difficult. Overall though we enjoyed it
This place should have a wait everyday. Food is awesome, menu has a nice variety, price is right, service is great and area is beautiful.
We have been to Alaina’s several times. Both for dinner and breakfast. Friday they have prime rib and it’s so good. They’re pot pies are delicious too. Breakfast is great. They serve Johnny cakes! Not common so I am happy they serve them!! It’s a great local restaurant that we enjoy!
What a great relaxing place to have some drinks and snacks in such a beautiful setting. Glad my friend and I discovered this place. Great apps and the prime rib was outstanding! Wonderful friendly staff, will definitely become a repeat customer to this place in my new home state!!
The only detractor was the service, food was EXCELLENT, beer was COLD and the setting is tough to beat. Our waitress was nice but just part of a new age of young food service workers who just really couldn't care less about their job. I will definitely be back and I wish we had a restaurant like thi
Good service above all, never had an unusual wait or a bad staff interaction. Bartenders are always friendly and work fast. The food is great, especially the Irish / irish-themed stuff on their menu. A few dishes are lackluster though, so I'd ask your server for a recommendation if you're undecided.
