Joe's Inn - Richmond - Photo album

We found Joe's Inn when looking for a close-by restaurant for Altria Theater. It's only 5 minutes away by car. Joe's Inn is a great little corner restaurant with a cool vibe. We went on a Friday night at dinner and although they were crazy-busy, the staff was friendly, helpful and attentive. Even
Atmosphere: We went on a weekday and it was crowded. Go with time and hungry! It is totally worth it. Menu: Homemade delicious options. You will feel the difference in the food and even in the salsas. We ordered: - Soup of the day: Navy Soup. Amazing 10/10. Great portion and delicious! Perfect f
My wife heard about this place online somewhere and we put it in our list of places to visit. So very glad we did. The food was outrageous. She had the Chicken Parmagiana and I had the Loaded Spaghetti. Now spaghetti may not excite some people but there is nothing quite like a good spaghetti dinner!
It was a very busy night, but the service was great! Our food was okay, the fries were especially tasty. Three of our party had a variation of the baked Spaghetti meals, but we found that while it was good, it wasn't fantastic. The portions were colossal. The price was great for servings of that siz
Looking for carbs the night before Richmond marathon and Joe delivered. Copious amounts of delicious pasta - we got there by 5 and were seated within 10 minutes. Great experience.
Very good. Can't wait to go back. Bruschetta bread was awesome!
Portabellos drowning in balsamic, draped with melted cheese and sprinkled with spinach are a great way to start a meal at Joes. The old school dive atmosphere add to the appeal. We got the large greek salad with chicken too bring home for lunch and it really does feed 4 easily. Next time we’re in Ri
What an amazing spot! Always wonderful service and great people. The bar is my favorite. Love Katie! She really takes care of you. My favorite is the greek salad with gyro meat. My friend loves the chicken kabob. The draft list has great options and is always fresh. Have to love the ice cold glasse
Very tasty crab cakes, large in portion! The fries looked more baked and healthy adding to the taste of the whole meal. As a tourist who passes by, I highly recommend this place (despite the fact that they saved me money by forgetting to get my beer πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€)
My son lives in RVA. This is one of his go to places with friends for good food. My first time. Great corner bar/eatery. Party of 4. Food was great. Friendly service. Nice atmosphere, except little loud at times. Nice mix of customers makes Joe's really cool place. Will not go away hungry. Plenty me
Bustling place typically means good things. This was exactly the case here. Great atmosphere and happiness seemed to waft throughout. Smiles and laughter was everywhere you looked. FOOD: Nice variety to choose from that spans most flavor pallets, including children (we fed our 9 month old daughter
Generous portions and great service. I'm still snacking a day later.
Joe Mencarini opened the venerable Joe's Inn in 1952 on Shields Avenue, and it became the archetypical Fan restaurant β€” fiercely loyal customers, long-term wait staff, lots of booths down a narrow aisle and a menu featuring everything from pancakes to a pastrami-and-Swiss. Groups have met to play we
This a great place to eat. Has a dining room and a bar. Drafts are half off during happy hour which went to 6. The lasagna was very good. Comes with a side salad. Had garlic bread as a appetizer. The service was fast and efficient. Parking is on the street in the neighborhood
Classic diner atmosphere, food, and price. Loved the French toast, thick soft bread without overdoing it. Loved it even more that was part of the breakfast and didn't have to think whether to get them or not! Good eggs, albeit not really scrambled. The ham requires some work. Very good home potati
Very friendly staff and the food was amazing! Definitely left with a happy full belly I would recommend thinking about sharing a plate of food if it is just two people The servings are fairly large, but not at all a complaint it's a bonus!
An absolute Richmond institution/staple. Been coming here for nearly 20 years now. I always get the big breakfast, chicken parmigiana, or fried chicken/fish sandwich. It's always been good and absolutely consistent! Staff are always friendly, and you can't beat the atmosphere.
Great little hole in the wall. Food was AMAZING, service was great. We had breakfast and dinner and although there was a little wait for our food, I must say it was sooooo worth it!!! We had the spaghetti Ala Rudd with garlic bread, French toast and the belly buster with the 12oz Delmonico steak! Th
