Chez Foushee - Richmond - Photo album

This restaurant is a true dining experience. My wife, aunt, uncle, and I ate here when we visited Richmond, VA. The service, food, atmosphere, and entertainment were class A fine dining. Everything we ordered was delicious.
The staff is great, and they are very attentive to detail. The food was some of the best ove had in Richmond, and they really put a lot of care into the dining experience.
The food here is amazing, the beef bourguignon was one of the best dishes I have had in a long time. The service was also wonderful. The crème brûlée and lemon butter cake are standouts. I can’t wait to go back again soon.
I only had a drink at the bar here. Seems very nice. Great atmosphere. I hated their red wines by the glass, too French and too tasteless. Still, i want to go back for a nice dinner.
Beautiful restaurant in Richmond. The food and service were excellent! Parking is street parking but usually not too hard to find. Went on one of their nights they have Candlelit dinners with piano music — it was magical. Our server, Anthony, was an absolute gem. Highly recommend the Brie appetizer
For a special date/occasion, this place is perfect. Fantastic decor, servers very sweet and attentive, and food is all solid. Had risotto, white bean hummus, baked brie. Many of the dishes are classic French offerings but others are very creative twists on French dishes.
Excellent gluten free menu, wonderful cozy ambiance, and friendly staff. The food was amazing and the drinks were great as well. My only small complaint is that the drinks took a little while, but it was no big deal as we really enjoyed our time here and the food was absolutely incredible. The GF cr
Amazingly beautiful interior decor. One of the chic-est, most instagrammable Richmond restaurants! Food was great, but not excellent. Service was so-so (seemed like the main waiter was a bit overwhelmed and still had to train someone). Would still definitely come back, if only just for the VIBES- yo
Always a pleasure. The buttery lemon tart is the best desert of my life.
Incredible. 1920s atmosphere. Steak frites, baked cheese, salad with berries and chevre and Incredible cocktails. White linen, fresh flowers, table top lantern. Very elegant, yet approachable and cozy. Great service by Kenny. Price point for 3 was very reasonable. ❤️
A gem that Richmonders tend to take for granted because Chez Foushee has been a staple for so long. We'll not make that mistake again. The restaurant is incredibly appointed with high ceilings and a color scheme that seems to create light. The service was outstanding - the waiter noticed our poached
We went here for brunch and it was surprisingly empty. It’s a fancy restaurant and it was hard to chose from their tasty-sounding menu, but we ended up getting the crab Benedict and creme brûlée French toast. The crab Benedict came with hash browns and fruit, and the French toast came with strawber
I love Chez Foushee. Great food, fantastic service and lovely atmosphere. It's always a pleasure.
We got the best seats in the house! This is such a nice, little place with plenty of huge windows and a beautiful marble bar. The service was great...food came out quickly. They changed my meal to suit me more but forgot two of the ingredients the meal was supposed to come with...which made the mea
My friend and I walked in to sit at the bar for the first time, not realizing how underdressed we were. I don’t remember her name, but the bartender was so friendly and welcoming, and she slings some amazing drinks. Amazing service, good food, fantastic drinks. Thank you :)
Outstanding food and atmosphere. The trout was mouth watering and the sauces really wonderful. Unreservedly recommend this place.
Wow this place is great. The staff is on point and the food is excellent. The omelette was superbly French complemented with perfectly seasoned crispy potatoes. I will be coming back next time I'm in town.
Our most recent visit to Chez Foushee was for a private event that was lovely, but since the change of ownership in 2017 I've been for brunch and dinner w/ my husband and lunch w/ co-workers. All of which were exceptional. The food is freshly prepared using local and seasonal ingredients to create u
This is an EXCELLENT restaurant. The decor, the team, the food… it’s all very good. I had the winter salad (blueberries were perfect), the crab cake (no breadcrumbs which means a lot of crab) and you could almost smell the Chesapeake Bay in each bite. Dessert was toffee cake w caramel and the small
