Anokha - Richmond - Photo album

It was such a nice evening. It's definitely one of my favorite places to visit and my number one for Indian food!
We had the most delicious lunch ever! The lamb korma was the best we ever ate and the seafood goan curry was delicious as well. Lunch included naan and a salad which was above average and a pea dish that we really enjoyed. The service was friendly and quick. The portions were generous. We will defin
I'm bit late to put my reviews for this amazing place. Between 2014 and 2015 when I was in Richmond on my official tour. The guys at my hotel recommended me this restaurant, and on my first weekend I went there and truly the food relished my taste buds and I became the regular customer of this beaut
If heaven smells like anything I'll bet it smells like Indian food. How do they get so much flavor in one dish? I'd been dying for korma ever since I had it the first time and this place delivered. There was a tear with that first bite. Also! Mint sauce?!?! Why did no one tell me about that stuff?!?
This place never disappoints! It is clean and very well set up and decorated. The ambiance is to die for! The food comes out quick and hot! I ordered the seafood Goan curry and loved every bite of it. The mango mojito is thirst quenching and just right!
Hands down the best Indian cuisine I’ve had in the Richmond area. Great staff, beautiful atmosphere. Great prices, too. I fell in love three times in one lunch experience.
Our first time at Anokha tonight and we had Amar as a server! Amar was an amazing, so polite and knowledgeable. The food not only was so tender and perfect, but the timing was spot on! A++ Thank you for the best date night and we will certainly be back!
We loved the way they treated us for yesterday’s Lunch. Great food with lovely ambiance. Well trained staff who helped us for selecting the food. Had a perfect north Indian Lunch after so many months.
I don't know what region of India the cuisine is from but it's different from Indian food I've had and the past at three other restaurants. My judgment is still out on this. I like a lot of the shrimp dishes in Indian food, the man and the chutney. Samosas are my favorite appetizer. There's a were a
Food was good. Spicy level can be chosen. Since it was first time we visited, we ordered for medium spicy, but it was not enough for what we expected at medium spicy level.
We stopped by for the lunch menu. Meals are between $11-$15 and include a choice of salad or soup, rice and naan for the table to share, your entree and a dessert pudding. Everyone at our table found something to love and was allowed to advise a heat level between 1-6. We cant wait to go back!
The lunch special here is awesome. you get a ton of food for under $20, which is noteworthy these days. everything was super flavorful and filling. my only gripe was I ordered Tikka Masala with a spice level 3/6 and it was very minimal spice. idk if I'd come back for dinner due to the pricing, but
Flavor was amazing, and the serving staff was attentive and friendly. We would highly recommend this restaurant. They tailor our selections to our spice level of "heat" Yum!
Absolutely fantastic!! Our favorite place to dine in Richmond, VA! Nice decor, tasty food and the service is impeccable! Moreover, minimum wait time and you get the table quickly! Highly Recommended!
