I eat here often. Mostly on Wednesday's when they have the all you can eat buffet. Last night was exceptionally Good!!!
I am a regular customer, and have a favorite table where I and my party like to sit. And somehow, (even though I came with someone else) last night it was available!! The Tandoori lamb chops were the best!!! Everything is made fresh, and is replenished often. I always recommend this place especially on Wednesday evenings and Saturday early lunch for their all you can eat buffet. So if you love Indian cuisine or have yet to try it, the buffet is the best way to enjoy several traditional Indian dishes. Even the water is good!!
I love this place! This was our first time there and we will definitely be back! The atmosphere is lovely and so welcoming and comfortable from the minute you step foot in the door. The servers are polite, friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and bursting with so many different flavors! I will definitely recommend this to friends and family!!
The buffet was terrific. The butter chicken was rich and creamy, with a little heat. The tandoori lamb chops and king crab just added to a great dinning experience. The veggie dishes were refreshing.

Love love love the food here. I am an Indian food connoisseur and I will admit that this was my second time there in one week. The exterior of the restaurant is very deceiving and misleading because it's shabby, however; It's wonderfully well done inside and the food overshadows all else and transports you to a magical place. I'm in LOVE!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Taste of India restaurant in Richmond.
The culinary journey began with a plate of piping hot, perfectly crispy Samosas. Each bite was a burst of savory goodness that left my taste buds dancing in delight.
The curry chicken was incredibly tender, bathed in a luscious curry sauce that was rich, aromatic, and wonderfully spiced.
The Lamb Biryani was a delightful and tasty.
And then there was the Shrimp Biryani that tastes amazing
The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, making it a perfect place for a special evening or a casual dinner.
In conclusion, Taste of India in Richmond is a culinary gem that deserves every bit of praise it receives. I can't wait to return and explore more of their enticing menu!
Wonderful lunch with the family. We all enjoyed the buffet. All the dishes were very tasty and the food was restocked in good time. The server was awesome and kept our drinks topped off and checked if we had any needs. We will definitely be back.
High quality Indian cuisine buffet. Reasonable price $12.95 for weekend lunch buffet. Love the Masala and Tandoori chicken. Will definitely return.
Best Indian food we've had outside of Bergen County NJ in quite some time! They adjusted the spice perfectly for some of us who are more spice intolerant versus some of our party members who love the heat.
Between 4 of us, we tried the combo naan appetizer, with mint and tamarind chutney and then we had different types of vindaloo, goat saag, and a chicken curry.
Their desserts are amazing as well, we tried four different ones and shared. Don't let its hole in the wall appearance throw you off.
Ten of ten would go again and maybe even get extra leftovers to take home!
Delicious dinner in a lovely restaurant! We enjoyed mango lassie and a glass of champagne. Dinner included Curry goat served with rice, lentil soup, chicken biryani, and nahn. We asked for mild to medium heat and the super hot relish was served on the side if we wanted it. Next visit we will go to one of the buffets for the large variety of dishes they serve.
I have been to taste of India twice. First visit was on Friday night with regular order. The food was good but as I can remember their butter chicken ( chicken masala) is noticeable less creamy than other India restaurants but with more favor of herbs and tomato. Second visit was on Wednesday night for buffet. They have salad, all kind of curry and desserts. I would recommend to try out buffet first.
Nearly as good a Lehja. The tomato soup was a pleasant surprise. I was coming off a cold and it really soothed my soul. Tikka and butter chicken are consistently great.
Veg thali was authentic. Great lunch!! Wish the decor and vibe was more homely, but the food more than made up for it. Service staff were really nice. 👌
“Taste of India”, is the appropriate name for this restaurant that according to friends who know and my own taste buds, is one of the most authentic Indian restaurants in the region. They will work with all of your various dietary restrictions, needs, desires as well. I cannot make a higher recommendation. Enjoy!

Amazing atmosphere! Incredible food! Very clean and fair prices! My wife and I went for the lunch buffet and it was delicious. The food was hot and fresh and they had a great selection. They even had a lot of vegetarian options. The vibe is good and it felt like a romantic setting even though we had the buffet. The staff was very nice and kept checking on us too. We will 100% be coming back on a regular basis!
