Cocktails were great, beer selection was awesome, but......the dry rub on the wings, wow!! The star of the show was the burger. Hands down, the best burger I've ever eating, and I've eaten a lot of burgers! I plan to come back next time I'm in town!!
Was incredibly impressed!! The best scallops ever the charred corn and roasted jalapeños made this dish so good!! Everything we had was great!! Can't wait to go back!! Our server Yael made it an even better experience!!!
Fantastic Cocktails!! The restaurant is very cozy with wonderful customer service. Our appetizers were delicious and the perfect portion to not get overly full. Our entree's were fantastic in flavor, well prepared and generous in portion! The desert menu looked wonderful but we ran out of time before needing to head to our next engagement. It'all be something for to look forward to on our next visit! We will definitely return!
We had a wonderful experience at Saison last night. It’s small with a great vibe. It was obvious that careful consideration was given to every dish. I’m still thinking about the chicken liver mousse!
What a great dinner tonight and our first time at this restaurant for my wife and I. I will say that the desserts were a little challenging to eat (we had the S'mores and the Pumpkin Pot o creme) but absolutely delicious, and considering the small space it was on the loud side. But if you're there for the food (which we were) it is an absolute must in RVA!!! Well done, we'll be back!!!
I had never been to Saison before but wow guys. My whole table was more than happy. The customer service was also fantastic. That pork though.... ��
Great little spot. Laid back. Very cool. Helpful staff. Had the homemade biscuit with sausage gravy, fried chicken and a fresh farm egg! Delish!
Best pastrami sandwich I've eaten. Also, a genuinely awesome selection of tasty beers. Shall be returning to grab lunch with family and friends.

Came here on the recommendation of a friend, if you find you in Richmond, do yourself a favor and check this place out. Awesome atmosphere and the food is out of this world

A great spot for a delicious triple birthday dinner! We ordered a variety of small plates -- foie gras, melon salad, beef tartare and (not pictured) corn salad and burrata -- and the smash burger and everything was stellar. The service was great...the cocktails were fabulous...even the bathroom was a fun experience with assorted temporary tattoos to mark the occasion. I look forward to visiting again soon and trying more of the menu!
Amazing food, great service, loud as hell. Really flavorful dishes, not overtly Latino in the usual way but perfectly inspired. Cauliflower and skate wing small plates and pork and hanger steak large plates were all hits. Otherwise an excellent date spot but it was deafeningly loud and the tables are a bit crowded. I would definitely still return.
Don't sleep on getting here soon. The setting is very quaint and you get a very personal touch. From the flowers to the water to the plate setting this place is a must stop. Started off with Asparagus salad with a cashew butter that was amazingly fresh and light. Steak tartar with b&b pickles and fresh Billy bread that was melt in your mouth. Finished off with Pork chop and Radicchio gratin with a mustard sauce that was deliciously cooked and very tasty. Has a very nice selection of spirits to choose from.
This place will get packed and will have a difficult time getting a table so get in early and enjoy. Hopefully the food doesn't change too much but it will be a great food experience either way.
Outstanding experience. Every bite of food was phenomenal. Vibe is cozy and warm. Our service was superb - prompt and attentive. Just a lovely dinner I couldn’t recommend highly enough. I had the oxtail appetizer, schnitzel entree, and ganache dessert. They also have a great selection of beers and cocktails.
Cute little place- my ideal type of place to eat for a nice meal, especially visiting a new city. They didn’t have any tables, but we sat at the bar, which is good for us. I got the eggplant hero which was great. My partner got the salmon crudo, shrimp toast, and burrata. He said it was all good, especially the freshness of the crudo. Pretty good wine selection, could have more by the glass. I got the olive oil washed cocktail and it was okay. The service was a bit weird, but we were at the bar, so it’s okay.

The restaurant offers a vibe at the crossroads of Latin American and Asian hospitality and warmth. Servers were really kind, knowledgeable and attentive. 5-Star service!!!

Great food and interesting cocktails in a causal atmosphere. I’ve honestly never had a bad experience here. Saison is the Dos Equis of Richmond restaurants, always a good decision.
One if my favorite restaurants in Richmond. Their wings are to die for... I get Saison wing cravings when it's been a while. Great cocktail menu, friendly staff, & amazing dishes!

My partner and I dined here on Valentine’s. The service was friendly/attentive, complementary bubbly. I ordered the Steak Frites, cooked excellently, poutine fries were delicious!! $5 Bell’s 2 was a pleasant surprise, best I’ve seen in RVA (non-HH), lol. Would dine here again!

Cannot say enough good things about this spot! The restaurant itself is small but allows for such a great personal experience from the warm and caring staff. We ordered a couple cocktails which came beautifully adorned with fresh seasonal flowers and fresh garnishments. The food was fantastic and included fresh vegetables (the fresh tomatoes were wonderful) that beautifully accentuated every dish we were served. We sat at the bar and were very well taken care of. Me and my husband both felt very well taken care of and would definitely come back and recommend this spot for a nice, intimate dinner.

Eve was so enthusiastic about the items on the menu... made me want to try them all! Small portions that pack an enormous amount of flavor every dish that came out exploded with flavor. My tastebuds were truly awaken with the Halibut while my fiancé enjoyed the fried goodness of the butternut squash. Highly recommend for a late night social.
Great experience! Food is innovative and Rich. At first glimpse of the menu, you may be thinking that there is not a lot here. Oh, but it is! The food is super creative and flavorful. This was our first visit here and we will be back for sure!
We love this restaurant in the charming and diverse Jackson Ward neighborhood. The cocktails are potent and delicious and the food very good. Bonus points that they are open on Sunday nights. Cannot wait to go back for the bone marrow and also the crab salad. Excellent!
