Wife is vegan and still had plenty of options. She had bbq tofu appetizer and a vegan cheese steak. I had the special, bacon wrapped stuffed chicken breast with garlic mashed potatoes and sautéed green beans. Julia, our server was great! Timing of appetizer, salad and entrée was perfect. One of the best house salads I have had in a long time. I can't remember the last time I had an entrée come out so hot I had to blow on it. Reasonably priced, nice atmosphere and good food! Bit of a drive from west Chesterfield but worth the trip and hope to do again soon. Keep up the good work!

I've been there twice now and I love it! It's quickly become my new favorite brunch spot! Sausage gravy, eggs benedict, and the breakfast burrito are all favorites we've tried there. I also got the brunch special yesterday - open face chorizo - and it was also a hit! The sides, home fries and grits, are also to die for! Will recommend this place for brunch time and time again!!!

Visiting from PA with family and my niece took us here for lunch/brunch. There were 7 of us and we were all very satisfied with our food and the service. I had the breakfast burrito with home fries and it was superb. More than enough to eat and I even shared some! If I lived in VA I would be there a lot; this is a fantastic hidden gem!

What an awesome restaurant with excellent service. I just wanted something quick because I was starving so I ordered the Turkey Sandwich and side salad. Well the turkey is slow roasted and tasted like Thanksgiving between two pieces of bread! It was the best! Love this place! Cheers!

These folks are always so nice to me & my kids! There are some servers that even remember where we like to sit and what our order is I love that they have a dairy free cheese option, it opens up pizza to my lactose intolerant kiddo. Great neighborhood place, good vibes.

We stopped for a late lunch today on our drive home to Philadelphia from a Florida vacation. It has a very homey and inviting atmosphere, and our server couldn't have been nicer--she was very sweet to our 6yo old son. The food was excellent. It was overall a wonderful way to break up our drive and have a good meal! :)

The shrimp and grits was incredible. The bacon, garlic and tender shrimp with the perfect amount of salt were scrumptious. I had a side of al dente green beans beautifully seasoned as well.

Wonderful experience. Would recommend anyone to come in and enjoy this place, the music was just right, the place was chilly so it was nice getting out of the hot sun and sitting down and feeling comfortable. Mark was our server and he was very nice to us and the other guest around us, he kept our waters filled and our food came out fresh. Loved that there was vegan/veggie options and that the dressings were home made :) all the other servers around us were doing a good job too keeping the place clean and the other guests happy. Wonderful food at The Mill!!

This place is the definition of a hidden gem. They have a great gluten free menu. Their portions are very generous. The food tastes like there is a grandma in the back making everything. I got the short ribs and they just melt in your mouth. I’m so happy we stumbled onto this restaurant. Will definitely go back.

Lisa Adams reviewing. Love this place! Nice atmosphere and only a bit challenging to find parking. As a vegetarian, they offer tons of vegetarian and vegan options, which is always so appreciated. Today I had a sandwich and substituted BBQ tofu for the chicken. I also ordered some fries. My meal was hot when it arrived and delicious. My only complaint, or should I say something to be pointed out, is that I was charged $4 more for tofu but didn't seem to get a credit for the chicken I didn't get. So I paid $16 for a sandwich with fries that I feel like should have been $12 instead of $16. I will ask next time about pricing before ordering substitutions. That's the only reason I gave it four stars instead of five. Still, it was a great meal and I will be back.

I was on a long road trip and was tired of my usual celiac-friendly, on-the-road food of hard boiled eggs and chips. Craving more sustenance, I found The Mill on MacArthur online when I was several hours north of Richmond. 30 minutes out, I called in an order for the hot sauce dry rub and honey habanero wings and a Greek salad. First of all, I can’t stop thinking about the dry rub wings and I had them a month ago, folks. They were OUTSTANDING. Second of all, I wasn’t expecting this, but the to-go packaging was perfect for my travels. I was able to eat some and pack up the rest in my cooler so I could eat the rest for dinner when I got to a hotel. Nothing was soggy or gross. The honey habanero wings and the Greek salad were excellent but I will dream about those dang hot sauce dry rub wings until I make it back to Richmond. Hopefully I can sit and enjoy the restaurant itself next time!

This is a fabulous place to dine, especially for breakfast, lunch, and brunch. They have high tables, low tables, and window seatings. There is a cozy bar with sports on the TV. I had the breakfast burrito. Their home fries are great! The Mrs loves their chef salad. We also enjoyed the Bloody Marie's...Amazing! So, glad friends told us about this place. Be careful about parking. You may need to park a block away if you come at busy times.

First time at The Mill. Came here with my fiancé and my soon to be in-laws. It was a Sunday and they were serving brunch. Two of us wanted to try an appetizer and the other two in our party wanted to go ahead and order off the brunch menu. Our server said that it is usually not okay to order an appetizer with two brunch entrees but we could if we really wanted to. He didn’t explain the reasoning for this and acted very disgusted with our choice. Once the food was ready he brought it out and asked if we decided. We wanted a chance to try the appetizer first before deciding. We felt very rushed and didn’t know why the server was acting like this. I’ve worked in restaurants and was trying to keep on open mind but this server I felt was very rude and impatient. A few minutes later another sever came by noticing we were looking at the brunch menu. She explained that brunch ended at 2 and she would grab our server and let the kitchen know. If our original server had told us why he wanted us to hurry and that the kitchen only serves brunch til 2 we would have hurried and made a decision. We all loved the food and would highly recommend The Mill but can’t recommend our server Ryan. As a first time customer we were excited to try out a new place but would have loved better service. Looking around it looked like the other lady servers were more professional and much more friendly. Me and my fiancé hope to come back soon and have a better experience with service but can’t wait to try the amazing food.

Everything was very tasty. The strip that the restaurant is a part of is so inviting. I was greeted upon entry and seated right away. The space isnt very large but it still accommodated the rush of the dinner crowd that came in. The menu is extensive and what I chose was very flavorful. I like that there were options for vegans/vegetarians as well as meat eaters. My waitress were eager to help and give her opinion when asked. The shrimp I added to my salad (not pictured) were cooked to perfection. And it is always a plus to eat food that is locally grown or raised. I shall return to try something different.

Everything was really fresh. I had the grilled wings which were good. I had the fish tacos which were salmon. They were kind of bland but cooked perfectly. Overall a good experience and I will be back to try something else.

The pickle bloody mary was simple but really tasty! I got shrimp and grits. grits were really good, but only got 4 shrimp. Really yummy tho. Constant Companion got the arugula and bean salad, it was meh. The key lime pie had wonderful smooth texture, but Constant Companion thought it was lacking in Umph! I'd go back, it's a nice place, very family friendly.

I always love this place. I often find a reason to have a business lunch here, or take friends from out of town. The specials never disappoint-last time I had the short rib grilled cheese. That's as amazing as it sounds. Great beer and dessert selection as well.

We found it randomly on Google when we were starving an were looking for a kid friendly place to eat..its easy to miss from the street as it's a tiny little place..but it's really decent..and seems to stay busy..lik a local place all the neighborhood ppl frequent..every one was nice..the food was good..no complaints..the chocolate chip cookies were yummy and came with whip cream which my 7yr old loved..I will definitely go again..there's a bar inside too..I dnt think it would b good for a big group as it's really tiny an I'm not sure there would b enough space..but it's really a cozy friendly place to eat

Great spot for lunch! Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup hit the spot. Our waitress (with a fabulous tattoo which her young daughter designed) was outstanding. A return visit is in our near future.
