Ginger Thai - Richmond - Photo album

Cute, cozy and accommodating spot. Located on an end street so easy access if you need to run in and out. Best authentic Thai cuisine I’ve had in RVA. Flavor was memorable! I’ve tried two other places since my visit and their taste is unmatched! Nice sized portions. I was able to eat half for lunch
Love this place. I am OBSESSED with their basil fried rice. Keep having to come back to get it bc it’ll be on my mind and I just *have* to have it. Also the staff are lovely! Service is fast.
I loved this restaurant 😍. There were several options for vegan and vegetarians. We were seated quietly once we arrived. However, there was only one waitress working at the time. Nevertheless, the service was still pretty quick. I'll highly recommend this spot and look forward to returning.
My food was incredible! I can’t believe there’s not more hype around this place. I got one of their specials which was crab fried rice, and it was spectacular. Amazing flavor, fresh crab and fresh shrimp, and it was piping hot even though I ordered it for pickup. I also got the fried tofu appetizer
This was a great a place to recharge while walking around Carytown. The food was good and tasty, if you ask for your spicy level to be spicy. It will be spicy! The service was great: the lady that helped us was on to of it and was kind. Very pleased with my experience 😊
Tasty and fresh food. Big portions. Lots of options on the menu. Excellent service. I think they might be my favorite Thai spot in Richmond!
Ordered spicy basil fried rice with pad Thai. I am giving the food four stars because the pad Thai was a bit soggy for me, I tend to like my pad Thai on the hard side. The basil fried rice was soo good. I love spicy stuff 🔥 so the spice just made the fried rice a 10/10. Ordered a Shirley Temple and
Nice ambiance, wait staff is all business. Server was knowledgeable of which items were gluten free. Kept our drinks full.
I love that they give plates to everyone before the food comes because the meals are big enough to split several ways. We had the ginger fried rice, Thai tea and panang curry. The food was amazing, were going to make this a default destination when we come to carytown.
I’ve been coming here for 15 years now and my favorite plates have not changed! Still the best pad see ew and spicy drunken noodle to me in the country. This is one of those places I take visiting guests too. Their prices are fair, there’s a huge variety of options on the menu and I’ve never had a
One of our favorite local spots, and arguably the most authentic Thai food in Richmond! The portion sizes usually leave us with at least one extra meal leftover. Typically, there is only one waitress, but she works very hard, is very efficient, and is also incredibly sweet. Their Thai iced tea is al
Nice place! Good food! Nice staff! They make good chef recommendations based on you telling them what you like…so far I’ve not had anything I disliked!
The Ginger Tilapia had a lot of flavor. Good food, great service. The veggies were very crisp and fresh. Will go again.
Amazing thai food! Our food was extremely flavorful & spicy:) We had pad thai & basil fried rice.
Great family-owned Thai joint. All the traditional meals you would expect at a Thai restaurant. I had some Pad Thai, which was very good. Huge portion and glad to see "Thai hot" was actually spicy. Give these folks some love; cool little restaurant.
Such a variety of food options! The entrees were huge and the owner is so sweet and caring. We ordered so much food and ate our fill and still had leftovers that we crushed later at home.
I've been to Ginger on a number of occasions and it's always an A+ meal. For my last visit, I had the drunken noodles and the depth of flavor was incredible. A word of warning, the custom spiciness level is no joke, even for a life-long pepper-head, so choose with caution!
