So delicious! We created a custom pizza: hand tossed crust with Alfredo sauce, pulled chicken, bacon, and feta. It was cooked perfectly. The crust had a lovely slight crispy edge and perfect middle. The cheese was melted evenly, the bacon was crisp and the chicken thoroughly cooked. We will be ordering again!
The best gluten free crust I've ever tried. So good my husband wouldn't even believe it was GF. We are also thin crust pizza snobs, and J. Rocco's is super thin and crispy and tasty. You can tell all of the topping ingredients are fresh and high quality. My family is so happy to finally have a "real" pizza restaurant in Short Pump and the fact that they deliver is an extra bonus. Try the thin crust with red onion, pepperoni and sausage or the Hawaii 5-0.

Fantastic pizzeria! We had our order delivered. We got pizza, wings, bread sticks and salad. The delivery was fast, everyone was courteous and the food was fresh and delicious!

Great pizza! They have a nice crust and are generous with the toppings. I got the Florentine signature pizza and will definitely get it again! The bread sticks are pretty good too. Plenty of parmesan and a good texture.

We started ordering J Rocco's a few weeks ago. We saw all the signs and figured we'd give it a shot. We've ordered from them 4 times now, and they've definitely become our #1 pizza choice. The pizzas are awesome, their drivers are friendly and courteous, and delivery time is as quick as any of the big boys. Great stuff!
Awesome! I love their Veggie Monster pizza. It was delicious, and there were so many toppings for a good price. After a few hours, I ate it cold because I didn't want too lazy to heat it up. It was still delicious. I recommend putting some crushed red pepper on the pizza too
J. Roccos has become my go-to pizza place! Their pizza is the best in RVA I have ever had, and the customer service is fantastic! One time they delivered the wrong pizza and let me keep that one and delivered the correct one for free within 20 minutes. They are generous on the cheese and don't overcook their pizza! I don't order from any other place. It's a bit more expensive but WORTH IT!
Why would anyone order from one of the chain delivery joints, when you can get a better quality and better tasting pizza for basically the same price? Not to mention, it is 100% locally owned- not a franchise.
All of J Rocco's toppings are fresh and high quality. Their thin crust is actually thin and crispy. They also have a gluten free crust that is the best I've ever had. My family can't even tell the difference when we order both thin crust and GF pizzas. Be sure to order directly from J Rocco's website versus one like grub hub because they regularly list deals/coupons making their prices equal, if not better, than the chain pizza joints.
J. Rocco's food is delicious but I gave it 4 stars instead of five since the employees need customer service training. I was given the wrong order a few times and had to either go back to the place physically or call again which should not have happened. Please bring in someone to properly train and develop your employees, especially with listening, paying attention and restating the order to make sure it's correct. Make sure they know basic math too and know the difference between traditional and boneless wings because I ordered a 20oz drink but was rung up for a 2 Liter and ordered traditional wings but was given boneless. I was not given my order total either. I found myself having to go in more than order over the phone due to a lack of customer service and receiving incorrect orders. May this review help better your company and employees. Keep up the great work at making delicious food.
Just had pizza from J. Rocco's for the first time this past Saturday at our Cub Scout's Pinewood Derby, and it was excellent! I had been wanting to try it for a while since we live right around the corner. We will be frequent customers.
Love their pizza! Crust is medium thin, toppings are plentiful, and prices are great. Takeout special is $10 for large pizza with 2 toppings. What a deal!
This place has great pizza! It's a little difficult to find, as it is in a strip of mostly industrial type businesses, but it is well worth the visit. Only place I know that regularly posts coupons on the website where you order to help save significant money. I visit regularly and will continue to do so.
I am happy to say that my search for an $8 pizza joint is over. It was unfortunate losing both Fox's Pizza Den and Chanello's, but thankfully, J Rocco's has taken their place. It is located in the spot that Chanello's used to occupy, and I think it's a better pizza. Good sauce, good cheese, good pepperoni, and they don't skimp on the toppings. The crust is pretty thin so you're not going to get the mass that would get from, say, Papa John's, but it's what I expect from an $8 large 1-topping (carryout). It's a very greasy pizza, so if that's not your style then you'll have to look elsewhere. I found it delicious.
Best pizza in Short Pump area! Crust is fresh and crispy, sauce is delicious, and the toppings are fresh & plentiful. Their delivery service is always super fast & their guys are friendly! Love this place!
They have the BEST pizza!! This was my first order and I went through ubereats and chose the priority option and the pizza came HOT. My order was correct and the food was excellent! Definitely going to be my go-to pizza place 😁❤️
