Best boxed lunches in Richmond! Their lunches are so, so tasty and extremely easy to order online. They have so many different varieties of sandwiches and salads, there is something for every dietary restriction on their menu. Their lunches are competitively priced and come with so much food! I so love that you get a pickle and a peppermint patty with each sandwich. They also deliver, which is wonderful. They are so easy to work with and didn't mind at all when I had to add several lunches once I had already placed my order online. Will most certainly be using them again for all of my boxed lunch needs in the future.
Awesome, awesome, awesome food! I love their sandwiches. My favorite for several years has been the Office Favorite. Their potato salad is amazing. No complaints at all. Very nice staff who is always willing to take last minute delivery orders and make every attempt to get it to you at your requested time.

Haven’t actually visited the establishment but always heard great things. So I had the pleasure to actually experience the fresh taste of the Cobb Chicken salad last Thursday. I will say that the salad was just Awesome. Will visit the establishment soon.

I have been to this location many times over the last year and a half. Being a vegetarian for the last 25+ years, I know it’s sometimes hard to find a good place to eat. Their veggie sandwiches with alfalfa sprouts are my favorite! The soft fluffy fresh made bread and the dijon horseradish are mouthwatering! The salads are huge and delicious! Their bbq ranch and house made ranch are my go to’s for salads. I tried the vegetable soup the other day and it was best I’ve had from a restaurant ever! Not only is the food amazing, but the staff is always polite and assistive whenever I want to try something “new” on my veggie sandwich. Couldn’t say more positive things about the food and staff!
My work orders the lunch box item for the staff and this is by far my FAVORITE sandwich place. Not only is everything on their menu so delicious but the lunch box options are wonderful. The accompy the sandwich with mustard and mayo. Comes with pickle, chips, cookie, and peppermint patty. Like, so classy haha I love getting the lunch boxes. I normally always get the veggie and it is fully loaded it never disappoints!
I've tried a different sandwich on each visit and every one has been delicious. I love the variety of options, the house-made sauces and cookies, and it's a great value for what you get in the deluxe lunch box. My only complaint (which isn't even enough to dock a star) is that the bread is a little floppy, making for an occasionally messy meal. Since it's chiefly a catering operation, toasted bread isn't an option. I'd still choose Apple Spice Junction over Panera any day of the week.
This hidden gem is amazing. I've never had a creative sandwich from here that wasn't good. I'm lucky and work in healthcare so I get box lunches from here on a regular basis. I highly recommend the curry chicken salad and the Famous Frog Eye Salad!
We ordered from Apple Spice in an attempt by our department to support a small business each week. This place is now our top pick for delicious food, attention to every single detail (the wipes, the cookie, the peppermint patty, the pickle in a separate bag, the veggies with dip), and absolute promptness of our delivery. We work in healthcare and are really flexible in dealing with people so we would never give a bad review. But today, I needed to make it a point to let everyone know that you guys care about your job and you do your job very well! For our first in-person meeting for my business group since COVID, the director chose Apple Spice Junction for our box lunches. Several of us had the avocado BLT. It was delicious. The soft bread didn't quite stand up to the massive amount of food that was stuffed between the two layers but the bread was quite flavorful. I "managed" by cutting the sandwich into quarters. The bacon was perfectly cooked and I had to remove a layer of tomatoes and lettuce (leaving plenty of each) because there was so much! The special sandwich sauce was delicious (I'd buy that for home use), the pickle was crisp, and the bag of chips went quickly. I found the pasta had a bit of a heavy vinegar taste, however, no one in the room complained. I am not a sweet eater but the chocolate chip cookie had huge chunks of chocolate in it and was very good. The entire lunch was packed well. I wish there was a store close to where I live. I'd get these on a regular basis. I want an excuse to return to Richmond so I can get this again!
