I love this place! The food is delicious and the portions are plentiful. I can easily make two meals out of my one order. But it usially don't work out that way, because the food is so delicious that I can't stop eating. The owners are lovely people and it's rewarding to support such a great local business. The owners always make me feel so welcomed and appreciative of my business.
Great food, incredibly friendly staff that makes you feel appreciated for coming in no matter how busy they are. The gyros are huge and delicious, and their beef pizza Puffs are amazing as well! 12/10 would recommend.
Last night, we finally ordered take-out from Babylon Gyros, our absolutely incredible local Mediterranean restaurant here in Richmond Kentucky. For the price...THEY LOAD YOU UP. Our order came with two containers of their home-made tzatziki sauce with each sandwhich, 3 flatbreads each and enough meat for at least 2-3 large sammies, AND THEN SOME!!! Their lamb was super tender and delicious. By far, the best gyro that I have EVER eaten, anywhere!!!
$12 comes w. rice and large serving of olive hummus.

I was very happy to see that they are serving Dine-In!!! Despite these troubling times and many many changes to this New World since March, esp. to our dining options, things are starting to get better for all of us and eating at Babylon Gyros was a GREAT START. -tw
MUST TRY š Affordable food, incredible taste and quick service. You can get lunch combos that give you an entree & 2 sides for about $9 or you can get sandwiches, fries & a drink for about $9. I went with the chicken shawarma & it was incredible.
Me and my husband both got chicken gyros with fries ! The chicken , pita and fries was so good ! If you want good gyros this would definitely be the place to go. The lady that works there is super sweet and so is the man. ā¤ļø
Thereās always some one to throw stones and criticize ones hard work. Any criticism here is unwarranted. The service is impeccable. The food is top notch. I can count on one had the number of times Iāve been able to finish a meal. I recommend the euro salad , but be ready for leftovers. Itās easily 2 meals so order extra bread. Call ahead because everything is prepared fresh and the line at peak times are long.
This is my "go to" restaurant choice when I'm visiting Richmond. I've been eating at Babylon Gyros for years. The portion sizes are very satisfying. The food is tasty...and it's a family/owner-operatated business. The interior has some beautiful professionally painted murals that were provided by an EKU College student. My son told me the story of this and knows the artist, as they were in college together. The rest of the restaurant could use updating. It has evolved over the years from an in-store grocery to reduced seating, but the food is very good.
Anna is a wonderful, warm, hospitable host. Her and Eddie run the restaurant efficiently without sacrificing any of the love. You canāt order a bad meal from Babylon. Pictured is the Chicken and Cheese combo: seasoned chicken, Swiss cheese, green pepper, and onion on pita with French fries and a drink for $8.47 (as of June 7, 2019).
One thing to note, Babylon was added to DoorDash without their permission. The menu on DoorDash is incorrect. If you want Babylon delivered, please use Colonel Delivery.
