Absolutely delicious. I had the Brisket and my boys had the pork. Cooked to perfection and can't wait to come back to try more. Mac n cheese was some of the best I've ever had.
Had lunch here on our way back from TN. Found it on Google maps... looking for something local with good ratings. We had brisket and pulled pork, for sides we got the Mac n cheese, green beans, potato salad...all were very good. We were then offered ice cream which was delicious! Perfect place f
The brisket melts in your mouth. Everything looked good, which made it difficult to choose from. I tried the ribs & brisket with 2 sides. Affordable & great food. Small, family owned. Great business. It’s worth trying if you’re in the area. If you’re unsure your in the right area, let your nose lead
We had the ribs and beef sausage both very good, ribs were moist and tender. The sides we had were potato salad, collard greens and cole slaw everything was very good, collard greens were outstanding. I might have given a higher rating but they were out of brisket.
Authentic. Its a simple place with mouth watering simply fantastic BBQ. I had the brisket and a double order of greens for the side. Both were excellent. And I knew I was in a true bbq joint when i saw they had sides of vinegar for the greens. This place is the real deal. Give it a go.
We had lunch at Straight From Texas. The pulled pork was tasty and moist. I liked the central texas sauce. I also had cole slaw and spicy baked beans. My wife enjoyed her meal too. The atmosphere was quite rustic. Overall a good dining experience. We highly recommend.
Holy moly that’s some good BBQ! Passing through town and stopped at this sweet spot. Ribs were fall off the bone. Chicken was juicy. All the sides were phenomenal but don’t you dare skip the Mac & Cheese and baked beans. Wow, if we didn’t live so far away I’d be here once a week for a meal. Well don
The staff is excellent, explained the options well. The BBQ is "Texas Pit Style" reminds me of Blacks BBQ in Texas. As a family of 5 we chose the Texas Sampler and a rack of ribs. They know Brisket and Ribs! We also enjoyed pulled pork, pulled chicken, mac and cheese, corn cake, baked beans and tate
