Midway Cafe - Ridgecrest - Photo album

I found this small cafe when I stayed in the motel next door. I went there, Budget Inn, to get away from the old Motel 6 several blocks down with their lousy service, but that's another story. Anyway, this is a small diner that serves breakfast and lunch. I've been going there for breakfast on Fr
This place is full of rustic charm. You can tell that it has been around for a while. That being said, the service was amazing and super friendly. I got the Combination Omelette with a side of hash browns and sourdough toast. All the food was great tasting and hot when it came out and the coffee had
A fantastic old school breakfast joint. It's looked this way since the 70s. Some of the seats are patched. It looks worn. But the coffee is endless, the staff are super helpful (everyone gets called "hon") and the food is amazing. I had the best omlette of my life here: perfectly cooked and seasoned
Great mom and pop shop, they cook with love and compassion ❤️ 10/10
The server is always very friendly. The biscuits and gravy is delicious. The decor is very dated and needs to be updated. The seats are very uncomfortable mainly cause the springs and cushioning in the seats are very worn out.
We enjoyed our lunch here. It’s a great place for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. Very affordable price for good quality food!
Been going there for over 50 years. Different owners through different times but it's still the same feeling locals that have been here for a long time always gather there for breakfast. Was just there for breakfast this morning. You really got to love it it's like something that lives on. It's a re
Been there twice this week and cleaned the plate twice. Simple, good food served in large portions. Friendly staff and reasonable pricing. No complaints
Small diner with very local feel and great service. It may not look like much from the outside but this high desert cafe is a time machine to the past. The decor and layout is mid-century cafe with what looks like all original furnishings. Maybe reupholstered sometime during the Carter Administrati
Great diner breakfast type food. Good value and excellent service!
Best old school type of cafe ever. I chose to check this place out based on the fact they seemed to be known for their biscuits and gravy among the locals and didn't disappoint. Their biscuits are perfect and I just loved their hashbrowns flavor and the ham and cheese omelet I ordered. Their coffee
Simple dinner but quick, tasty and not expensive food !
Amazing place with amazing people. I've never had any experience like it anywhere else and I try to go there at least 3 times a week. They are cash only, but as a result it's about $17 or so for an incredibly large breakfast and large amounts of coffee. On weekends when I go in, due to me doodling o
Excellent service! Downhome cooking and atmosphere. My husbands favorite place to get breakfast, and the best (homemade!) biscuts and gravy in town. Resonable prices.
Excellent service, excellent food and great prices! We really enjoyed our breakfast! This is a classic, good old fashioned diner! We'll definitely be back!
Classic Americana breakfast/lunch cafe/diner/counter. Patrons and guests very friendly. Cash only!
We had an all American breakfast here. Seems like a historic place with very friendly staff
Great little hole in the wall place to eat. It is so cool when you walk in there it is like walking into a time capsule where everything got stuck in the 70's. The food is amazing I had the burger when I went and my mother had the tuna melt the food was amazing. Highly recommend this place if your i
