I've been coming to this gem for years. The food is always and i mean always impeccable. The lump crab meat strudel and the foie gras is always a hit. The beef wellington is cooked to perfection. Quite honestly I've never had anything on the menu i haven't enjoyed. The foie gras is actually one of the best I've ever had and honestly keeps me always coming back. The service is superb. The icing on the cake, for me, is that the chef always comes out and greets and speaks to his guests at each table personally. He is personable, friendly and truly a gentleman. If you want to enjoy French food at its finest without going into NYC, then this is the spot you want to keep on top of your list

A gem of a restaurant. Last night we were seated at a table in a small alcove, which made for a romantic setting. The escargot in a pastry shell with a rich dark sauce was delectable. I had the lamb special - cooked and seasoned to perfection. My husband had the seafood risotto in a dark lobster glaze. Ending the meal with the cheesecake and decaf cappuccino. The service has always been excellent, the staff friendly and professional and the chef comes out to greet his patrons and chat about your dining experience. Latour is a BYOB

The food was of the highest quality and the presentation was exquisite! Every course served was a gourmet experience, delicious! Excellent service in a wonderfully charming European style atmosphere. The wait staff was extremely attentive and provided great recommendations for entrees. Latour will now become the start of a holiday tradition.

Our first visit to the premier French restaurant in Bergen County was a dining celebration. Every aspect of Latours was great, appetizer, seafood entrees, and dessert were 5 star. Top this off with an attentive wait staff and a table visit from the chef, Michael will have us back!

My husband and I visited Latour last night. I have been to many restaurants but I have never had such a great meal before. The staff were beyond exquisite. Old school service that is sorely missed by me. They catered to our every need. The food: divine. I am spoiled now and don't want to eat anywhere else. Kudos to Chef Latour and Staff - Thank you for having us. Christian and Joanne

Been looking forward to eating here for awhile and LaTour lived up to all the great reviews. The service from our waitress was top notch. The quality, freshness, and presentation of the food exceeded all expectations. The highlight of the night was definitely the goat cheese ravioli. It was great seeing the head chef/owner come out and make small talk at all the tables - small things like that really make a big difference in the ambiance of a place - heck I am sure he will read this review. Thanks for the great night celebrating our anniversary.

Always amazing. Chef Michael really cars and visits each table to engage in conversation. Enjoyed 4 course pre fix dinner for my birthday and the chef surprised me with chocolate soufflé which is not on the menu. Thank you.

We came here after our wedding and each anniversary thereafter. Each time we come it is a consistently wonderful meal. The atmosphere is classic and cozy. All of the staff is courteous, prompt and knowledgable about the menu. Chef Latour is a gracious and talented chef who comes out to greet his patrons with an amiable smile and charm. If you are looking for a worry free and entirely delicious night out, go to Latour and enjoy yourself!

Food was fantastic. The pumpkin cheesecake dessert was amazing. The best thing about this place is that every dish has a complex flavor composition. After you take a bite, the flavors just keep coming!

Very nice. Good service and good food. The space is a bit noisy with all hard surfaces: wood floors, tin ceiling, plaster walls. Fois gras was superb. Also very pleased with the sole and Beef Wellington. Desserts were just fair. I would have been happier if I had just skipped that.

We've been coming to this restaurant for 3+ years and love it every time. The beef wellington and duck breast dishes are fantastic. Also love the lobster strudel appetizer.

I had a great experience while dining with friends at Latour. The menu was diverse, and the wait staff more than accommodating. The Beef Wellington is excellent. The owner of the restaurant was very cordial, and came out to to introduce himself to everyone at the table. The restaurant is BYOB which I find to be a huge plus. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant is business casual, however, the outdoor dining area is less formal affording a more relaxed summer attire.

Live this little French restaurant in the heart of Ridgewood NJ! Dishes are a bit salty sometimes but with BYOB, it’s a perfect match! With COVID they had to reduce their menu a bit but overall still a great place.

Latour is a small and cozy French restaurant in Ridgewood. The prices are pretty reasonable, and the portions are a nice size. They start you with bread which really isn’t anything special. I found that part to be disappointing as French restaurants usually have a few different types to choose from. One good one I love at French restaurants is a raisin biscuit. We started off with 3 different appetizers a lump crabmeat strudel, lamb Osso Buco tortellini, and a seafood crepe. When they were served two were only lukewarm and one was hot. I like everything to be served hot. The seafood crepe was by far the best one as it was stuffed with a generous amount of seafood. The lump crabmeat strudel was very good, and the Osso bucco tortellini was just fair. I wouldn’t order that one again. For entrees we had the lamb chop special and filet of beef Wellington Napoleon. The lamb chop special was EXCELLENT! It was perfectly seasoned, and they gave a generous serving. It was the best dish of the night, and I highly recommend ordering it. The filet of beef Wellington was very good. For desserts we had the chocolate ganache mousse cake and hazelnut pear crumb tart. Both were DELICIOUS! I’m a chocolate lover so I thought the chocolate ganache tart was the best one out the two. The chocolate cake was so fresh and moist, and the mousse had a perfect consistency. The hazelnut pear crumb tart was very good and even the vanilla ice cream it was topped with was so good! Our waitress was great, and we look forward to coming back. I recommend dining at Latour in Ridgewood!
