Frankie Rowland's Steakhouse - Roanoke - Photo album

The restaurant and staff were great. Ambience is very classy. Oysters were good too. We both had steaks a filet and a ribeye. You pay $50 at least for the steak and then you pay for each side. The steaks weren't seasoned well. The food is good but I don't think it's worth the price.
I had high expectations coming in. I waited 20 minutes for my drink. The atmosphere was loud this day, with 4 men as if a ball game was on. No one said anything. So I ordered a steak it was seasoning well but ice cold along with the the sides. I sent the steak back twice along with the sides, which
We have been going to Frankie Rowland's for years and it WAS one of our favorite special occasion or high quality dinner establishments to patron. We went back this past month and sadly it was a totally different experience. We waited 20 min for our drink order to be taken. We had to ask for bread w
Service is good. Everything else is bad. First impression is the bread. It taste like the bread is at least 2 month old. It’s a steakhouse, so I order stead. When the steak is served, it is over cooked, taste bitter. Told the server and they made us a new one. This time the outside is slightly over
We had a horrible experience at Frankie Rowland’s. The service was absolutely terrible, and the food is no better than your typical chain steakhouse. When we sat down, within 10 minutes the hostess came up to our table of 5 and told us we would need to be done by 7:30 because they had a party of 8 t
Took my daughter and her best friend to Frankie's for a birthday dinner. The staff was wonderful and this poor review in no way reflects upon them. The morning after our supper, we learned that all three of us were sick that night, throughout the night. We shared three dishes, the cheese plate, c
The food and service are both excellent. The overall appearance of the restaurant is very nice definitely not noisy. You can enjoy your food and company. Just keep in mind that everything is a la carte and the price can get mighty high. The vegetable sides are sized for sharing though.
I know the common convention is that you don't go to a steakhouse unless you want steak. But the salmon was very good and we were mixed on the chicken dish. I thought it was just ok. My friend thought it was really good. Our sides of mashed potatoes and mushrooms were great and enough for sharing.
