Wasabi's - Roanoke - Photo album

Have not been here in almost two years so I decided to come back because I was downtown and wanted something close. I remember now why I LOVE this place! The staff is super friendly and the restaurant is nice and clean. They were very busy for a Wednesday night but our food came out fast and it was
Generous portions of high quality sushi. I also had the Sumo Roll and it was pretty good. Just be advised that the Sumo isn’t sushi per se. it’s cooked, warm, and lots of sauce. My pix are from when I got my pick up order home.
The BEST sushi in Roanoke. Santiago is a genius chef, and the whole front of shop crew really knows how to take care of you. My drink are always filled, and belly always full during my time at Wasabi. I highly recommend the Sumo roll. It’s everyone’s favorite roll, is very filling, and so so tasty.
Fantastic sushi. Really enjoyed lunch here on a cool Saturday. Great city walking and shopping around too!
Delicious sushi, very reasonably priced, and served with a great selection of fitting appetizers and drinks. Get started with a miso soup, followed by two rolls of your choice, while you sip from a Kirin Ichiban... It won't disappoint!
The worst food I’ve ever had. That’s a big statement but the shrimp tempura tasted like the shrimp had been reheated before placed inside the roll and the shrimp teriyaki tasted like they doused it from a $1 bottle of terrayaki sauce and let it sit for two hours before serving it.
Great experience, friendly staff, great food and very reasonable price for everything I had. Sashimi was high quality and the service was fast and consistent.
My friend had a large plate is sushi and was very impressed with the size of the pieces. I had the teriyaki chicken and shrimp and it was good, just the right portion size. Ginger dressing on the salad was amazing!
