This place not only had great service but literally amazing food. One of the best burgers I’ve had in awhile. Thanks for the cold beer and welcoming us Indiana folk!
Our third time dining at Moonshiners...excellent once again. Came in with a party of 11, everyone was more than pleased with their choices. The ribeyes were tender and perfectly cooked, as were the filets...all accompanied with a nice bottle of red wine. One of our group had the pork chops, loved those too. We also had the ribs (yum!) and one of the huge hamburgers. Make sure to try their green beans...fresh and taste like home-cooked. Crisp salads and some excellent yeast rolls round it all out. They can even accommodate those who need to eat gluten free! And let's not forget the always friendly service!! You will not be disappointed.
We were in Robbinsville for the week and any time we ate out we ate here. Food was delicious and the servers were great as well. Wish we had a place like this in Evansville, Indiana!!! Thanks for taking great care of us on our vacation.
Just not quite a 5. We showed up with no reservation and the guy was almost disappointed when we said really its no problem for us to wait. Service was ok. Sat with an empty glass for quite a bit and ended up getting salt and pepper from the table next to us because we didn’t have anyone to ask. Reading the other reviews this doesn’t seem to be the norm. Maybe it was just an off night. The burger was ok. It tasted fine nothing wrong with it, but nothing exciting or above average either.

Nice little place....food was good, however service was not the best. I understand the place is still kind of new and maybe has some kinks to work out. I can understand that my meal took a little long to come out, as a good steak can take time to be cooked correctly. But good help is hard to find, especially in a small town like this. And our server wasn't the most attentive. It took her a while to come to our table when we sat down and It took 5 minutes to get me steak sauce and ketchup once my meal came out.
That said, I still give this place 4 stars....we met and chatted for 10 min with the owner. Super nice guy and they are really trying hard to make this place a success. And this place has sooooo much potential!!! With it being part of the motorcycle inn that is next door and all.
I will say this, I still recommend to come try the place . The atmosphere is nice and the food is good. Just have some patience.
I plan on staying at the inn next time we come up here to go to the dragon.

Stopped in on our last night in the area, about 1 hour before closing. Had steak, asparagus and mashed potatoes. For the price I expected a larger cut, but the flavor was on point. The meal did not disappoint.
The bar tender was cool, and I believe it was the owner that came over and stayed with us at the end and spoke to us, he was very nice. Great surprise finding a place in that area with a bar.
They do rooms right there on property so we'll consider that next time we're in the area and be able to just walk over for a drink after a day of riding. Would recommend.
I was on a 4 day camping trip to Santeelah Lake... Our camping location and the lake was soooo wonderful we decided to stay an extra day. We'd not taken extra food so we decided to order takeout. We called Moonshiner's and order hot wing and a burger. Our order was ready just as we arrived to pick it up. Staff was very nice and took good care of us. Food was good. Wings were not the best I've had but they were tasty and my Buffalo style were fairly warm although not quite to my desired heat level. Still they were very good and we all enjoyed our dinner!
Great food, I recommend their ribeye steak and their cotton candy cheesecake; tastes just like cotton candy! The ribeye was delicious as well and the broccoli was cooked to perfection.
The food was delicious atmosphere relaxed with class, staff accommodating, and it was a great end of a day of riding the Dragons tail nearby.
Ribs were great and tender as advertised; mac and cheese was ok; but the corn was not very tasty and the butter-like stuff on top of it was not very good at all... still, the ribs were great.
by far the best food in town. Quality, taste, presentation is amazing. Service is top quality, food is ready in no time, appetizers are delicious (try the spinach artichoke dip with home made pita bread) and the blackened salmon with sweet potato will leave you satisfied. Desserts are delicious we tried the carrot cake, the dar chocolate cake and the best blueberry cobbler I ve ever had. You won’t go wrong. By the way., the two wheels in stay is also super. Highly recommend.
One of the few places in the area where one can enjoy an adult beverage with a meal. The staff is friendly and prompt with service. The owner has the attitude of, if I'm going to charge people for it, it better be excellent. Every meal I've had here has been excellent.
I suggest the the ordering the cheese curds to share with shrimp tacos accompanied by your choice of a North Carolina micro brew.
We ventured out from the lake for one meal and we were not disappointed. Service was excellent, and the food was phenomenal! Actually, ot was the best salmon meal I have ever had. My son and husband had 🥩 steak and both said it was delicious. The others had fettucini and said it was great also. Service was fast. Everyone was friendly. Appetizers were very good too. We tried spinach and artichoke dip and fried mushrooms.
My friends and I all had the fettuccini Alfredo with grilled chicken, the spinach dip with homemade chips and dessert. We were extremely satisfied with the meal and will definitely come back for more! The staff were also courteous, attentive and helpful. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
Absolutely excellent food and service. Had to go back the second night after our experience the first night while visiting for a motorcycle trip. Menu was limited due to a soft opening for COVID, but all 8 in our group loved the food. Shrimp tacos were excellent. Must stop if you’re in the area.
Extremely busy for a Wednesday evening, but after the meals arrived, we understood why Moonshiner was packed! Everything was cooked fresh and to perfection - the French onion soup was delicious, the meats were all tender and moist, the sides were incredible. And the servers were not only hardworking and dedicated, they were fun and friendly. This is a restaurant the I will highly recommend and will dine at again! And again. And again.

The steak was amazing. Honestly I believed it to be as good as Ruth's Chris for a fraction of the price. I was so impressed with everything. Appetizers were great. Salad was great. The server was great. Really blew me away. Didn't expect to find such an amazing place to eat here near Robinnsville.

Only reason not 5 star... Gravel lot not the safest for motorcycles.
Will be back the next time in town.
Burger was phenomenal... Fettuccine was average... Steak was outstanding. Salads were tasty! Cheese curds were really good too!
Owner was young and very personable... Easy to talk to and cheerful with a smile on his face.
Very good burger and salad and our server was just so sweet! Will definitely visit again and try some other dishes. We had the spinach artichoke dip and the chips that came with were so good we ate the rest for dessert when we ran out of dip lol. The salad was super fresh and dressing was really tasty. Others in our party had the Fettuccini Alfredo and said that was very good too.
We enjoyed the most delicious salmon, ribeye steak and sautéed Vegetables. The service was first rate plus. The establishment was impeccably clean and sanitary. The staff was helpful and courteous. The prices were very reasonable for the high-quality food we received. The facilities themselves are impeccable.
Being from Atlanta, we have many options, so we were extraordinarily surprised to find such a good restaurant that exceeded our expectations.
