Awesome cozy hidden little place. If you don't go to that side of the building (and let's be real, half the time, why would you?) Excellent service, meals come out fairly quick and not too expensive. Meals I had: I had the bulgogi (pictured closer to the camera.) my partner had octopus (a little spicy!) And we shared a plate of the scallion pancakes. All of it delicious. Worth checking out!

The outside of the building wasn't much to look at, but everything at Sodam was great. The staff brings a few small portions to taste, including kimchi, seaweed, and spiced cucumbers. I tried the Mandu and the Kalbi-tang. The Mandu was fantastic. It was crispy and flavorful. The Kalbi-tang had very tender beef and fresh vegetables. The broth was not as flavorful as I personally hoped, but some extra chili added helped immensely. All the plates coming out looked equally as good

Even though we waited a while for a table, it was SO worth it! They even acknowledged that we had waited a while and before they sat us, the host offered to take our order in order for us to get our food faster which was so kind and unexpected. Highly recommend this place! My husband and I will be regulars here. :)

This place has the best Korean food! For anyone who likes spicy food this is the place. All the dishes we tried were delicious. You also get a small set of appetizers for free. Also the staff at this place are amazing! We went during a busy time but they were friendly, kind and accommodating. Definitely coming back again.

This place really gives you an authentic Korean experience! I usually order delivery and dine-in whenever I have the time. They are complete with the side dishes and everything else. Great kimchi as well!

Amazing beef bulgogi. Has some heat but the sauce is super flavorful. Big portions too and really enjoy the sides that come with it. Also they take the time to confirm food allergies here, much appreciated.

I have been going to this restraunt for over 2 years now and everything Ive had has been delicious. I have brought friends and family here. Originally I found this place because a manager of mine had recommended it. This is the best Korean food Ive ever had, I order the bulgogi beef regularly. I do miss the jajangmyun and the glass noodle side as they were some of my other favorites but I understand things cycle off menus. 10/10 best place. Plumb soju is also amazing. I eat here whenever I can both dine in and take out.

Been eating Korean since many years. I was told by my friends that there are no good Korean places in Rochester and no expectations when I went there. But surprisingly all the food we tried was good. Extremely cordial staffs made the experience even better.

Upon arrival and finally navigating our way there through a web of warehouse like buildings we arrived to what looked like a whole in the wall. The exterior made us question whether this was somewhere we would even want to eat but, I'm so glad we did! First we were greeted by a super warm and welcoming young lady and sat in a another room near the kitchen. Even the smells coming from the kitchen were a signal we'd made the right choice! The interior has almost a cafe or diner look but every surface was spotless. Even the little decorations scattered about were totally dust free. Our waitress was super helpful and answered all of our questions, she made it clear we were a priority. We were first brought out complimentary little appetizer type dishes that were all equally amazing. (I will include the picture and from left to right They were potatoes, seaweed, cucumber salad, and kimchi) I usually dont even care for 2 of the things and thought everything was equally fantastic. Next came the appetizer, Mandu, it was piping hot and full of flavor. Next up were entrees and everything was soooo good! We ordered Rabokee, Chicken bulgogi, Dolsot Bibimbob, and a drunken tiger roll. Everything was fantastic and full of flavor. I live over an hour away and will still make the trip to go again. Would also highly recommend the dolsot bibimbob!

Absolutely delicious. This was my first time and I loved it. Sat down to an assortment of Kim-chis. They were all delicious. The main dish was also fantastic. Can't recommend this enough and we will return!
