A great place to visit while you are in Rochester. Very cool to see what a single extremely wealthy and eccentric person would have for a mansion. Also the other exhibits about the history of Kodak, cameras, and photography are really educational and fun to explore.

Amazing house and museum that does an excellent job of giving a glimpse into the amazing life of George Eastman. The house is in excellent condition and has an organ in it that we were lucky enough to hear being played. The museum is a nice amount of information on the history of photography as well

We attended a holiday cocktail party at the Eastman House. It was a lot of fun. The house is nicely decorated and festive. The gingerbread houses were impressive to see. Event was well done - good wine selection and yummy food. The best part of the evening was the dueling organs. Love the sound!
The George Eastman Museum is one of the better museums I attended recently.
Both the house and Museum exhibits are very well done. Good explanations of the displays plus the Museum subscribes to an audio tour service.
I wish I could walk out into the gardens, but they were closed.

This is the most interesting tour I've been on. It is a very informative and gorgeous place. Reading all the pieces really put the story together plus seeing evolution of photography was mind blowing. I would definitely go back and recommend
Enjoyable museum but the house is a little under whelming.
I expected more from the actual house, but I did enjoy walking around. I love seeing historic homes and learning the history. There just wasn’t as much time see as I thought there would be, especially for the price.

My granddaughter had her senior picture done there. What a beautiful place. I walked around the grounds. So many pretty gardens. I felt my mind drift toward a different era. Amazing.
What a beautiful place! Mahogany woodwork everywhere. I have seen several big old mansions but the Eastman Mansion is in great shape compared to most! The crown mouldings and decorated ceilings are awesome. The mahogany main entrance staircase is amazing. Looking at the main entrance just wondering
This is a beautiful museum to learn about the life of George Eastman, the Kodak camera man. The place is so beautiful. It is like a fairy tale.
