WOW! Just what I needed with a massive hangover while in Rochester :) The burger was fresh and made to order. My only reason for not giving 5-stars is the fries needed a little love... no seasoning. Onion rings were better IMO!
This place never changes over the years. The prices have gone up a bit but thank Biden. Food is yummy and service is quick and friendly.
Yeah, so we have some burger places in Rochester. Like Bill Gray's,Tom Wahls, these are thin burgers that you can get on a hard roll or bun. Hot sauce is good,as are the other two places I mentioned. They are all different. They don't serve tomatoes tho, I like them with lettuce, but burger still good.
If afraid of going into the city or just out in the burbs, good burgers
Very clean. Food was pretty good. Got the plate and a burger. My kids liked the burgers and so did I. Washrooms surprisingly very clean. Plate was a bit weird. Kinda like a weird poutine
Best onion rings around! These were huge and fried perfectly - delicious! Burgers on a hard roll were great also. Always like getting the side of pickles, too! Staff was very friendly and professional. Highly recommend Schaller's.
The food is always great here, and the staff is pleasant. I forgot my purse with 50 dollars in it on my most recent visit, and when I went back to get it, the money was still there. So kudos to the staff!
They got really good garbage plates. I had the hot dog with chilli and cheese on top and that was really good. We only paid around 10 for two people and their portions are very reasonable. If you don't eat carbs, they have non carb options too.
I love coming here. The vibes are unmatched, and the food is great every time. It can be a challenge for the person at the counter to get your order right, however. Especially with the young and taller black gentleman.
Had burger, fries and cherry coke today. Best burger by far in the Roc, not even close. Hot sauce and pickles are great. Crushed ice in coke. Well worth the cost. Great job guys!! Thank you!!!
Honestly, the world's best hot dogs & hamburgers, not to mention Schaller's Plate! The hot sauce is unlike any you have ever tried, do yourself a favor and order extra, you'll thank me. If you have never eaten here, then you must try it, I promise you, you will go back again and again. If you have eaten here before, then you know how amazing it is!
I love Schaller's. It is a must visit for me every time I'm in Rochester. Hard toll, hot sauce (like a Texas chili all meat no beans) cheese burger. Change your life!
Love this restaurant! We were in from out of town and the service and friendliness was excellent. The crew here tonight on 9-17-23 at 8pm was sooo nice and made us so welcome!!!
This place hasn't changed much in the last 20 years. Solid cheeseburger plate every time. Highly recommend.
Moved from Rochester to Charlotte NC 6 years ago and this is my first plate from Schaller’s since moving and it was more amazing than I ever remember. If you’re in Rochester make a note to stop here and indulge in a plate. You will not regret it.
Always a staple of our trips home to Rochester. Great burger and fantastic meat sauce. Oh, and those great crispy fries.
I lived in Rochester 30 years ago and still can't find places that beat a Schaller's burger! Hate that I didn't buy a shirt.
Took a bit to get my order in, but that was okay and it was just like I remember as a kid when I went to the east ridge one.👍👍
