Wow!!! The food, the drink, the people, the patio, the atmosphere... I'll start with the beer.. beers that you don't see everywhere, always a selection. Always check out the taps. Amazing. The patio? Check out downtown from here, beautiful. The people? Always smiling. The chef came out to shake our hand tonight. Love that. Now the food. Seriously? I've had almost everything. I'll give you the highlights. The fish tacos, best I ever had. The mussels, yum. Philly steak egg rolls, hi. Burrata board, for lunch, snack, even dinner. Rib eye & bacon poutine?! Brace yourself! But for real, if you don't come here and try The Stinger, you should slap yourself. Country fried chicken in a buffalo sauce with shaved steak?! I'm hungry just thinking about it and I literally just finished my meal. Do it. Come here, you'll love it.
My wife and I just had an amazing dinner here, the wait staff was incredibly friendly, the food was to die for, and the prices are great! We ate dinner on the back patio and felt like we were on vacation with a great view of the river and downtown!
Great atmosphere inside and can't beat the view out. Something on the menu for everyone, personal favorite would have to be the burrata. The prosciutto almost melts in your watering mouth. The mozzarella and soppresatta pair perfectly with any number of the wines on their extensive list, I had a Niagra Pinot Noir as well as a Chenon Blanc from I believe it was South Africa(?) the later of which I was most excited to try as I've never had it before, it's crisp and refreshing with a hint of sweetness which will appease a both a typical dry red drinker such as myself and the sweet white drinker. Check it out before a show or as your main going out location.
Awesome place, good food, great drinks, even better view. Nice outdoor patio to overlook the water and a great view of the city lights after dark. Staff is very friendly.
Stumbled upon this place last night while looking for a place to eat before the Amerks game. It is in a tucked away corner at Corn Hill Landing but worth finding...thought my burger was one of the better ones you can find in Rochester.
Fantastic place, fantastic employees, fantastic view and fantastic deals! The best wing deal in the city on Mondays and bottomless mimosas on Sundays. Can't be beat!
Loved everything about this place! The location was beautiful; the menu and cocktails were fresh, delicious and different; the staff was super helpful; and the prices were good. I had a turkey, bacon and avocado sandwich and it was huuuuge. Can't wait to come back and try a burger next time :)
Went for brunch and wasn’t disappointed! Beautiful view and delicious food, not to mention bottomless mimosas! I ordered the Silk Toast and it was delicious!
Excellent place to hang out. Casey, the bartender was great, and Eddie the owner was amazing. Wings were tasty too, and being from Buffalo, I would say that I'm an authority on that. Will be back soon to this gem.
We stopped in here last night because we were going to a concert. There's so many good things to say, the food is amazing I suggest getting the district stinger. But most of all the staff is so accommodating and friendly. They were super busy so our food took a while which we didn't mind, the owner Mario brought us a free appetizer and offered us free shots. The waitresses were running around like crazy and it was nice to see an owner help them out so much. We will definitely be going back soon 😀
Burgers are amazing. Meat is ground in house using high quality ingredients. Amazing place with great food, service and a view
Casey was phenomenal, Eddie the owner was very welcoming, and Dan the realtor kept us engaged with great real estate conversation.
Great experience, amazing wings!!

I had part of my bachelorette party there this weekend. The owners and staff were super friendly and we had amazing service! Highly recommend this place. Kudos Silk!!
First time in today and it won’t be the last. Awesome atmosphere, great staffs, great drafts and even better food.
Silk is a gem in Corn Hill. The view is beautiful. The food is delicious and the staff is incredible.
So yesterday I tried out a new location for dinner & drinks with some friends (Silk District Pub on Exchange). The weather was absolutely gorgeous so naturally everyone, including us, wanted to sit outside. There was one server. Yes you read that correct, one. He had the entire outside patio to himself, naturally most parties were larger (4-6 people).
Please keep in mind 3 out of the 6 people in my party (including myself) had previously worked in a restaurant setting so we completely understood where the understaffing is coming from and/or what it looks like. Especially this day in age. The food was delicious, and they even had Bosnian themed food specials. Did we wait longer for our drink orders? Yes. Did they probably over seat the patio due to only having one server? Yes. But these individuals are trying to make a living too. From back of house to front of house.
The pandemic has touched everyone financially, emotionally, and mentally in one way or another. So riddle me this...when out in public to eat, please be kind to your wait staff. I promise you they are trying their best with the staffing that they have. Everyone in their Mother is hiring, not just restaurants. Every business is looking for help. It’s time for the ones who haven’t worked the last 14 months, and are completely able to, to start helping society out. With summer weather/outdoor patios, occupancy is opening up to 100%, and no longer having to order food while drinking, places are just going to get busier.
As to my server last night, DJ, thank you for taking care of my table. Your efforts did not go unnoticed (only food runner, only server, only one bringing bar drinks), and I will definitely be back 🙌🏻 Not to mention the view on the water wasn’t half bad either.
Friendly service both times we went. The first time, the two of us enjoyed the patio on the river, with our bikes right next to us. It was fairly busy for an off time, so the single waitress had to hustle, but she was polite and professional. We never felt rushed when I ordering, she asked about our preferences to make recommendations, for and offered us a taste of an unusual beer to ensure we wanted to order it. The order took a bit, but she got the calamari to us still hot and perfectly crispy.
We had a large party our second visit, on a slow Sat afternoon. They were taking orders at the bar, but food was then brought to our table. The lobster Mac and cheese was so heavenly that after sharing a taste, we had to fight off our friends to keep our lunch! The drinks were good, and everyone enjoyed the many dishes that were ordered. The bartender was jovial and we hung out enjoying the conversation on the history of the restaurant, and the building.
A great spot with a scenic city view for stopping on a bike tour, friendly, professional staff, and rich, delicious food. What more could you want?
Best brunch in Rochester. Plus bottomless mimosas for $25 with meal. Can't beat it. And the view is gorgeous on the river!!
A chillax bar/restaurant on the Genesee riverside, open outdoor seating and lights give an excellent ambiance for A date night. The food we had was good the blue cheese Cajun burger was Delicious while my wife's shrimp salad sandwich left something to be desired. all in all we will definitely visit again protip: On saturdays the bar next door has live music.
