I avoided snap until about 2 weeks ago due to the bad reviews on Facebook. Expecting a “thin burger”, I ordered the double. This was too much food, and I eat a lot. I didn’t find the burgers to be thin at all. They are very tasty especially with the sautéed onions. I’ve been back a few times and just go with a regular single snap burger and it’s perfect. The buns, fries and soda all taste great. The fries are a bit on the salty side but that’s my only complaint. I hope they make it, I’ll be back for more. For everyone complaining about the burgers being too thin, go to a real restaurant like good luck if you want a massive burger
When Snap burger opened I was initially excited, I lived across the street from an In n out years ago and missed those tasty burgers! The first visits were so so, small burger, overcooked disgusting fries, overall it was good, but still a disappointment.
HOWEVER, Since they have made changes the burgers are now bigger, juicy, and flavorful. The fries are fresh, perfectly cooked crisp! The place listened to their customers and made changes for the better. They have added more options to their menu for customers looking for something other than a burger, while I'm not a fan of straying away from the core product, I'm sure it was a necessity to keep this place going.
Overall if you tried it when it opened and were disappointed, it's time to try it again, the changes are real and you'll get a much better product than in the past.
This is the best and closest thing to an In N Out burger you'll find in Rochester!! Can't believe I didn't know it was here the first year of living in ROC! We will be back!!
Burger was great, real lettuce, tomatoes, juicy, gonna make a mess. Loaded fries were great, but get them alone, too much food on top of the burger. Service was excellent, clean, nice chalk drawings on a couple walls.
People in Rochester LOVE to complain - as evidenced by the reviews on here. Rochesterian Logic: "Something is different? This must is trash!".

Second time there and everything was fantastic again! Burgers were cooked well, this time I got the snap fries, and I will never go without again.."Treat yourself" is all I can say about those...it does have an in and out feel, but I like what's going on here...let's just hope it stays because the only issue is it's got terrible signage out front for the amount of traffic that goes by. Now one knows this place is here.
Really good burgers for a great price. The fries are excellent and seasoned well. Way better than 5 guys and similar chains. Previously, in this review I complained about the employees. The staff that have working there right now (12/19) are great! The quality is always consistent as well!
Clean restaurant, courteous staff, my first visit here. Nice atmosphere. All the soda has real cane sugar. The burger I got looked like the picture on the menu. I recommend this place if you're nearby.
Burger and fries were really good. Place is nice and super clean. Soft drink choices were not your classic coke or pepsi.
#snap fries are very tasty. Crispy fries with proper toppings. The burger is one of the better ones in the market in this area for fast food joints. Very good overall, staff was friendly. The guy forgot to give me my cup but as a gesture of apology he got my drink cup, filled it up, and brought it to me. Overall experience was a 5/5. Food was a 4. Wish I could give it a 4.5 but I can't, so I'll bump it to a 5.

I first went here on opening nightand it was awful. The burgers were limp and under-seasoned, while the fries were soggy and oily. I heard a few good things about it since then so I decided to give it another shot.
What a turnaround! The burger was well seasoned and had a decent crust to it. It verges on being too salty, however, which keeps me from wanting to go back too often. They give you an option between cooked and raw onions, which is a huge plus. Their special sauce is great. It provides a nice background without overwhelming anything else. The lettuce and tomatoes were fine. They didn't add much except tame some of the saltiness of the patties.
I upgraded my drink to a chocolate milkshake. This was definitely the highlight, and I would put it in my top 3 of fast food milkshakes (2 of which don't have locations in Rochester). It was the perfect thickness, not too sweet and had a great chocolate flavor without being too syrupy.
The biggest letdown was the fries. They were nice and crispy, but WAY too salty. I couldn't finish them even after dousing them in ketchup. I wish I could say that this was an isolated incident, but the burger and fries were overly salty the last time I went, too. You will definitely need to ask them to go easy on the salt when you order.
Convenient location near 390. They have a drive through as well as plenty of tables inside. Burger and fries were good. Price is comparable to McDonald's. I liked that the combo had the option of upgrading the drink to a coffee or milkshake for only a little more money. Some interesting soft drink options (not Coke or Pepsi).
I love their burgers and fries... Be careful floor is slippery from snow. Service very good. I ate my boneless burger before I took a pic, and gave my fries away... Too delicious to waste, but I'm in a diet.
Burgers are great. Used a self order kiosk, that's really fun. Nice to be able to take some time and pick out what I want. Would go back again anytime. Like supporting local as well.
It's a nice-looking place with a big TV. I ordered at an automated kiosk and waited 5-10 minutes for my food; more of a Bill Gray's wait than a McDonald's wait. The burger was pretty good. Tastes close to a Wendy's burger for close to Wendy's prices. My burger tasted like the beef had gotten a bit too close to its sell-by date, but that's forgivable and not necessarily part of a pattern. The beef definitely didn't taste frozen, though, which is great. The fries were very good, with a taste between five guys and Wendy's, but with the crispness of McDonald's fries. Definitely a top choice for fast food fries. Overall I was very happy with my experience. I'd go again if I found myself in Greece but I wouldn't make a special trip. I'll edit regarding the beef if I go again.

Visited this restaurant when I was driving by in the area. Was very pleasantly surprised on my first visit. The food seemed to be of a higher quality than an average fast food restaurant yet with the same prices. I noticed a common complaint in regards to patties being “too thin” - I would disagree. But again depends on your preference. Was very happy to see soda in a fast food place without corn syrup (terrible thing to ingest over time), if you care. Staff was really friendly. Didn’t wait long for my order. Restaurant itself is very clean and by far looks much nicer than an average fast food place. Wish their location was more noticeable. Definitely recommend it if you’re in the area.
Stopped in for lunch. Nice new build property, fair amount of dining space inside and outside, very clean. Staff was polite and friendly, still a little green, but that comes with time and experience. Food was excellent, comparable to Five Guys without the ridiculous prices. Staff touted the shakes but to be honest it didn't stand out but it wasn't bad either. No doubt I'll be back again.
Burger and fries were really fresh and delicious. The bun has a ever so yummy crisp to it and so did the fries. As another reviewer said the owner definitely invested a lot of money and you can tell by how nice everything is inside. Staff was very friendly, and yes a small wait as the food is made fresh to order but totally worth it. I have but one criticism though. The cheese in the fries is so bland that it may as well not be there. I think an aged cheddar or a nacho cheese would benefit your business greatly in the long run. It is totally a knock off of in and out burger but I’m glad they did it because in and out can’t be bothered setting up here so why not? If I had the money I would have done it too lol. Anyway if you upgrade that cheese sauce I think you got a banger here. Good luck to you guys.
Very different from most chain restaurants on the east coast! The employees were very helpful and they were very nice. The burger was good,the fries on the other hand not so much they were over cooked, the soda was flat! Overall we had a great meal! If i didn't live 9 hrs away i would definitely be a regular customer!
The restaurant lobby and outside areas are really clean. The area behind the counter, where the workers work, is also very clean. Men's bathroom was also very clean.
The fries are thin, much like McDonald's, and taste ok. This restaurant, like five guys, gives you more fries than what will fit in the container. The fries were crispy and warm, but could have used more salt. Taste is similar to Wendy's fries.
I purchased the double cheeseburger. Unlike many fast food chains, this burger was not saturated with grease, which is a plus. The lettuce, tomato, and onion tasted and looked fresh. The burger had just the right amount of sauce so it could be seen and tasted, but did not leak all over. Presentation was also above average compared to other fast food chains and the burger was good temperature.
The crew members were friendly and service speed was excellent. This restaurant still has very light traffic. It's easy to miss.
This place has the best burgers ever. The cheese on the burger melts perfectly, it is incredible. If you need more meat you can order more patties for a buck. The fries are exceptional too, they are crispy and perfectly salted. The milkshakes are delicious, they are so thick that you can eat them with a fork. (not joking) The menu recently got widened so they are plenty of options for you to choose. The prices are like McDonalds and the food is a lot better than 5 Guys. They even have kiosks in which you can order your food. All around the best food in my life. The 1 star reviews are SO NOT true, this place is perfect. I go here every time I'm in the area.
Wow Wow Wow! The burger was amazing! The fries were so fresh and delicious! Not sure why some people are griping. The service was great! We used the drive thru and was surprised I saw the person taking my order. This was a new experience so I had a hard time making eye contact Lol!! I guess that was the introvert in me! Service may have been a tad slower then other "fast food" places but it is so worth it for the fresh taste!
This was my first time going and it was a great experience. The staff was very friendly all the way through. In the drive through there is a camera so the staff taking your order can see you and you can see them I assume to assist those that are deft.
The food was pretty good the soda was flat but all in all I was very satisfied with the price and the quality food that I got. I'd definitely recommend them.
We drive by all the time and never stop. I was not that enthused with eating from a place with a hashtag in front of it. Tonight all of our usual place were packed so we decided to try it. Outside is clean service is fast and the food was good. I think we found our new fast food place. The young lady at the window was extremely nice!
