Man, this place is amazing. I've fallen in love with Indian food recently and been trying different places around my home in Minneapolis. This one has by far blown all of my nearby options out of the water. I'm sad that this is over an hour from my home. It's amazing. The tiki masala with paneer, the garlic Naan bread and the smoas (smosa?). The decor is really pleasant and the staff were nice also!
Especially after a long drive from the countryside, this restaurant was a real gem! We chose this one because the menu appeared most promising. The dishes and service were very good. When we got home, I saw my wife sneak another bite from the leftovers because it was that good. I had Aloo Gobi, a spicy cauliflower and potato dish, very pleasing. The garlic naan is very tasty, every bite. I wish had I bought ten pounds. The very long grain basmati rice was lightly flavored with cumin oil and a couple of other spices. Atmosphere was pleasant with video and audio of an Indian wedding ceremony playing on a television in a dining area full of well-tempered customers. Now then, I can't wait for tomorrow's lunch, where I'll eat my own leftovers!
What a great experience. Both the appetizer, the main course, and the garlic Naan were delicious. The chana chaat, butter chicken, and some great goat dish boasted of flavor with tender pieces of meat. The service was great. In fact, the waiter only seemed to show up when we needed something; otherwise, it was just the two of us in the corner booth, uninterrupted. The prices are reasonable considering the generous portions. I recommend the Marahaja. What a full flavored pilsner.
Very kind staff, delicious food, clean and calm atmosphere. Did I mention delicious food? I'm surprised this business isn't busier than it has been the 2 times we've visited. I should broaden my horizons, but the house special biryani is fantastic.
Legit authentic Indian Cuisine at its freshest. Meat is tender and moist, fresh spices and seasonings, perfect basmati rice and Master Class Naan. You would have to travel to India to find anything nearly as authentic and fresh as this. This restaurant has been around for several years for a reason!! I highly recommend it. Try the Butter Chicken with a Garlic Naan.
