Great gathering place for any time of the day. The Chorizo Scrambler and the wet burritos are my favorite! Soups are all homemade too!

Yes. Halfway. Between Greenville and Cedar Springs. Back in the last century it was a grocery. Now it’s a diner and a really good one. First let say that they take service to the next level. All work together. All are beyond friendly and helpful. The place in clean and well decorated. The food excellent. I forgot to photo our food. We ordered standard breakfasts and two specials — Irish omelet made with corned beef hash and potato patties. Both were excellent. Coffee good. A special call out for the Euro-grain toast which was the best toast I’ve had in a while. Home made strawberry preserves with every order of toast too!

This visit was for breakfast with a friend. The food was amazing. The toast automatically comes with homemade strawberry jam that was absolutely delicious. While some say the atmosphere is outdated, I find it to have a warm, cozy diner feel with bottomless coffee!

Halfway is a local institution. I've never had anything bad there. My last visit was breakfast, and it was classic American deliciousness. Everything perfectly cooked. Pro tip - get the chicken tenders. It's been about a year since I've had them, so unless they've changed - Halfway's tenders are some of the best I've ever had, anywhere. I really mean that, and for context, I've eaten all across this country, from Honolulu to Los Angeles to Dallas to Chicago to Savannah to New York City, and much much more. Their tenders are, perhaps, arguably the best I've ever had. No frozen GFS strips here. Try them and thank me later!

Excellent meal with our family on the patio. The food was great, and the server was on top of her game despite how busy it was.

Restaurant could visually use an update, but don't let looks fool you. My wife had the the club sandwich, and I had the roast beef sandwich. Both had good sized portions, and the food was excellent. Service was also good.

Great service, fantastic food! This place was a well oiled machine. The staff was on point, right there when you need them but not buggy. The fish fry was great both perch and pollock. Every other customer's food looked awesome and it seemed everyone was happy. We will definitely be back soon!

This place is a complete dive with great quality of service and home cooking. They offer homemade foods. The toast was offered with a delicious homemade strawberry jam. The eggs and potatoes were cooked on the money. The steak needed seasoning and salt but at the price point, it was worth it. One thing to note is they serve ONLY breakfast on Sundays.

We went there on a steady Sunday morning with our two young toddlers. Everyone was so kind and helpful- bringing us extra napkins and crayons, etc. They also checked in very often to ensure we didn’t need help with the kids, etc. Absolutely fantastic service and food! We’ll for sure be back!
