Brass Compass Cafe - Rockland - Photo album

I go every year on my way up to bar harbor and stop on my way home. The lobster club is how I start my vacation and how I end it. So much lobster. It's so big definitely a sharable sandwich. Posted pictures of my half. My only con would be location. Being on the corner of a busy street is not ideal
Great breakfast, brunch and lunch place. Large menu. We ordered the Bobby Flay club, it was huge, loaded with lobster & nice combination with crispy bacon, $24 for a very filling portion. A must try for visitors! Friendly and attentive staff. Love the local diner vibes.
In this environment, Brass Compass has perfect outside seating with some very nice shade trees. Great for distancing. I ordered the eggs Benedict and it was satisfying. For some reason during my visit they struggled on the service side. I do not ask for much but what I did request, they did not
My favorite place in Rockland. The king of clubs lobster club sandwich is amazing. But their breakfast is terrific and the service is awesome. Put this place on your must see list.
My family of five tried the Brass Compass for the first time for lunch today. Most places were still closed seasonally. I got the shrimp tacos, which were decent and on special. My boys ordered breakfast, which they tagged about, and my one year old had chicken fingers off of the kids menu. My husba
Decent diner in downtown Rockport that's right across from the Farnsworth. Really enjoy the lobster sandwich and the chowder. Nice environment and attentive staff. The shaded outside sitting area is quite nice for people watching.
This homey little diner has surprisingly delicious and well-priced cuisine. The seafood chowder is the best I’ve tasted in all of the North Atlantic coast.
Probably my favorite spot to eat in Rockland. Great local establishment. Casual and friendly. Great location in the heart of Rockland and near the harbor. Close to shopping. Without a doubt the best lobster stew around. A must try is the King of Clubs sandwhich. You won't regret it. The lobst
Nice diner with a cafe facade. Inside there's plenty of seating and friendly staff. The breakfast menu is full of biscuits, pancakes, and eggs and it's all served by friendly and attentive staff.
The best breakfast in town. Go in there and simply ask for the "Sailor's Breakfast", you won't regret it. French toast is amazing too! Huge portions at very affordable prices, I love everything on the menu at this place!
We'd eaten at the other place across town, Lynn the owner runs and tried this for breakfast. Got lucky and seated pretty quick as it seems really busy. Food was fantastic and very fresh. Great prices and fun specials, especially the eggs!
Great food and great service , this is the place to eat breakfast . Never left hungry.
Busy on the day we came but worth the wait. Had the scallop basket waa fresh, hot and delicious just the way I like it! Service was good ...will be back!!
Absolutely stunning! The waiters were so polite. Everyone working at this cafe made me feel like I was at home eating breakfast. The food was absolutely delicious loved everything on my omelet the price is awesome just for a small cup of coffee and a big plate of toast and omelet. The desert is amaz
The waitress was extremely attentive! The food was delicious. The Brass Compass is a must-eat-at restaurant.
Delicious local place. My eggs benedict were perfect and my husband’s omelette and home fries were delicious. Plenty of hot coffee. Wonderful atmosphere. Great service even when busy.
After a 10-15 minute wait we enjoyed the outdoor seating and fast service. We ordered the Philly cheese steak (added horseradish mayo!) and shrimp tacos. Both were good sized servings and had excellent flavor. Will be back again for sure.
