Great food, live up its place as the seafood restaurant to go in town. The chowder was great tasting and had some traditional flavors. The lobster rolls were also tasty. Other sea product like salmon or shrimps are also available. Ample of parking space and got nice dock sea view.

I had the fisherman's platter which was mostly quite good. Some scallops were oil laden with breading coming off but the food tasted good. My wife got the lobster Mac and cheese which sadly was not good. It did not have much lobster flavor but was creamy. Service was good.

Wonderful spot with amazing food and fantastic service. I wanted a taste of fried clams and the crab cake without ordering large portions of both, and they kindly made that happen. Both were delicious.

Delicious food! By far the best seafood we have had. Olivia was excellent 😊 and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Fishermen's Platter is incredible and a lot of food! The Cajun Parmesan Haddock was very yummy 😋

Ate here on a Thursday night. Great lobster stew but crab cakes were a little underwhelming. Other than that a good dining experience.

Awesome service friendly staff and great food. My lobster pie was great. The hamburger was cooked perfectly. You should stop in and give it a try. We came back a year later. Tried the lobster roll and was very happy. The broccoli was a good change up from coleslaw. The company an dip was very good as well.

Wonderful very fresh clam strips at an outdoor table overlooking the water. Attentive service, very clean restrooms. And, the icing on the cake was when my travel companion left her credit card (on a Sunday), called the restaurant number from the charge on Monday (closed for the day), the owner answered, drove to the restaurant on his day off, located and mailed the credit card back to my friend. Wow!

We were in Rockland earlier this day (Tuesday), walked out to the Breakwater Lighthouse and back. One of the hottest days that I've ever spent in Maine. We were ready for some good seafood and cold drinks, but every restaurant we considered was closed, strangely. Being from Maryland, we were surprised, and of course, disappointed. We had considered Claws and Sea Dog Brewing. We were doubly disappointed when a restaurant that my husband and I had eaten at and enjoyed last fall, The Jack, was also closed. Happened upon this place that, with a name like Hill's Seafood, promised to have what we needed. We were fortunate to arrive just as a table cleared up indoors, as we REALLY wanted to get out of the heat. Our waitress was friendly, cheerful and helpful, especially considering how busy they were. The food was great too. Our waitress brought us a pitcher of ice water to more easily replenish our glasses with. We were very grateful to have this place of respite available.

Didn't realize this place is a tourist trap. The atmosphere is great, the food lacks a little flavor. Service is great. Would I go again...not so much. I will bring friends from out of town if they want to experience a Lobster roll and have a great view of the bay.

Nice, quaint seafood spot with a view of the water and moored boats. It is a seasonal establishment, so check to be sure they are operating before your visit. Parking in the lot across the street is convenient, but can be full. Menu and food was good, with nice kids choices as well. Eat inside or outside, with lots of Maine themed decorations. Fine visit with good food. Glad we stopped.

For Rockland and the tourists it's a good place to go. Food wasn't all that creative with shredded cheese on everything. A bit overpriced also as $12 for a small mug of clam chowder...more like a cup with lots of potatoes. Better food just across the street.

Our waitress was the best we've had at any restaurant all week! We didn't catch her name but she was phenomenal. Recommendations were perfect, food was tasty, filling, reasonably priced. Great variety! I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Delicious food, great setting, super service. Considering myself something of a lobstah roll aficionado these days and Hill’s is close to the top. Lobster stew was delish as well.

Lobster stew was simple and amazing, chowder as well. A few orders of fish and chips and the lobster pie was filled with claws and knuckles and had the classic crab cracker casserole topping. Ingredients got to shine on their own at this no frills mom and pop.
