These folks do a great job with what they do. Diner feel where real people are actually making the food and not depending on the freezer. We went there for dessert. The home made blueberry pie with ice cream rocks.!
We ended up in Rockland for a night and lucked up and found this food gold mine! It's the perfect laid-back place. FYI: There are 2 entrances, one on the main street and a lower level entrance behind the building with a staircase to take you up. There's also parking back there. Take the alleyway rig
You go here for seafood - and a lot of it. My wife had the double lobster and I had a fish basket. She really enjoyed the lobster. I felt the fish basket was just “ok”. I would not get it again. I expected small pieces of fried fish like in the photo but it was just a slab of fish with very litt
A must try place for a great authentic local experience! The food was very delicious and fresh! The lobster was great, the fish cakes very delicious and the blueberry pie a must try. Highly recommended
Quite good! Tastes like hometown diner food served with a smile! The portions were sizeable, reasonably priced, and came out quickly, and piping hot! I ordered the shrimp basket and it was more than enough food!
Dropped by for lunch. Service here is basic. Don’t expect bells and whistles. But the food is phenomenal.
I’ve never had a lobster roll in anything other than the usual toasted hot dog shaped bun. This one came in a roll! It felt more meaty than the usual and I enjoyed the lobster meat to bun ratio
Great little diner with a wide variety of great tasting food. Nothing fancy. Lots of focus on seafood dishes, but there is something for a variety of tastes.
Save room for dessert as the pies are great. Whoopie pies are pretty sweet tasting.
What an amazing little spot in the middle of Main St Rockland! I had never been here for any type of food as we live more than an hour away. Great service, quiet but steadily busy. Customer service was great! Food was amazing and the amount was more than expected for the price! Definitely worth goin
Wish I could rate this place more than 5 stars! We were out for a drive and found ourselves hungry in Rockland, ME. We saw this little cafe and thought “why not?” I’m SO glad we stopped here.
The food is homemade end the portions are huge. The staff is friendly and on the ball. I got the Prime R
They was so good to me I thought online said it was 8$ for what I got but it was $15 so I didn’t have enough money with me to pay for it all and they still let me get it and I’m going to rockland tomorrow to pay them I felt so stupid it was 45$ for 2 seafood chowder and fries
Our group of four stopped by on a Sunday for early dinner. There was a bit of a wait for a clean table, but you could tell those servers were hustling! I recommend you study the menu in advance. So many good things! Seafood chowder is a stand out - or anything haddock. I had clam chowder and the sea
Had the lobster roll. It was delicious. So good in fact it will never leave your hand, unless it’s for the fries! This place has a lot to offer and is a must for your seafood appetite.
Wonderful co-op type restaurant. Cozy atmosphere with the added bonus of a small bookstore in the back. Prices were reasonable and food was delicious. There is also art space on the walls for local artists.
