Swung by to pick up a bag of coffee beans (beans, not ground) to keep at the house. I only can speak for the coffee and it was great! Excellent bag of beans, bright and flavorful which I love. Tasted great making it at home on the Aeropress. Would definitely come back for beans and am intrigued to try the food - the kitchen looked like they knew what they were doing. FYI you get a free 8 oz. coffee when you buy a bag of beans

Get all the fall vibes in Maine during summer, so I requested a fall flavor drink. The barista added maple syrup to my gingerbread latte and it was one of the best cups of coffee I have ever had. This will definitely be one of my stops every year during my Maine vacation. I wish I had this coffee shop where I live! Amazing!

The best coffee I’ve ever had! The staff were extremely kind. We also ordered some of their breakfast burritos and they were delicious too! Will definitely be back next time we are in the area!

Cute coffee shop on the main stretch of Rockland. They serve breakfast and lunch food in addition to drinks, and have a good amount of indoor seating. I got a Golden Milk latte which was SO good! Service was great as well. Highly recommend!

Rock CityCafe appears to celebrate diversity and I found hair that represented every color of the rainbow at this place. It is a collective which means the employees have ownership over some Big Co so I was happy to support it. Normally, I like big things to bite down on but the egg scramble which was perhaps the worlds largest English muffin and was a challenge even for me. The cheddar was nicely melted and the Cafe had decent coffee to wash it all down. Since I was in transit, I did not have a chance to experience other parts of the town, but the Cafe was a good stopping place and I loved the rainbow support.

Such a lovely local coffee shop and co-op with delicious coffee and food! They have their own coffee line and there’s a bookstore in the shop. Wonderful food menu with gluten-free bread and wrap options. Outdoor seating and plenty of indoor as well. Staff was kind as can be. Highly recommended!

Delicious coffee and food!!! Busy place at 10am but definitely worth the wait. Gingerbread iced latte was incredible 😚 and hubby's maple coffee was yummy! Bit on the pricey side but absolutely worth the price.

We visited Rock City Cafe a few times while on vacation and absolutely loved it. The coffee was one of the best we’ve ever had. We even purchased some of their espresso beans to use in our home machine. The staff were all very friendly. There’s also a lovely book store in the back.

Coffee selection is very good. All made with their own roasts. You can even buy beans to make your own coffees at home. The breakfast sandwiches are really good but also really big

An excellent non-chain coffee shop. Had the egg, mushroom, spinach and swiss wrap. Yum! Was super busy (most likely because of the Lobster Festival). And the vibe was cool.

I ordered the iced mocha and Mexicali burrito and it was just amazing. I would say this is better than Starbucks or Dunkin.

I ordered the bacon, sausage, and cheese egg sandwich with a flat white. Lovely place and with the updated precautions. I felt very safe. You wait in line 6 feet apart and while you wait you can look at the menu. When it's time to order you place it, use a credit card (ideally) and then you go around to the side to pick up your order on a table when it's ready. The English muffin is like a cross between a biscuit and English muffin and I am a fan! The flat white was lovely as well. Just a street down, there are picnic tables to enjoy art and your breakfast!

Great iced coffee! I love the ambiance and atmosphere at Rock City! The bookstore in the back half of the building is so unique and offers so much more character! This cute, charming coffee shop is a must-visit for any coffee enthusiast who is in Rockland.
