El Mariachi is a local, friendly delicious Mexican restaurant with great service & awesome shredded beef crunchy tacos, my favorite! Manuela & Lupe are two sisters that own & run this restaurant. They are hard working & so very gracious & sweet. They are open six days a week & serve breakfast each day, too, although I have yet to arrive early enough to partake! This is a great family restaurant/atmosphere. If you have a craving for some delicious tacos, Chile Rellenos, Enchiladas, Chimichangas or anything Mexican, visit El Mariachi on Sunset in Rocklin!

Best Mexican food in the area!!! Used to go to jalisco grill.... NOPE NOT ANYMORE THIS PLACE HAS THE BEST OF EVERYTHING! SAUCES, INGREDIENTS, PORTIONS! EL MARIACHI IS THE PLACE TO EAT! IF YOU HAVE NEVER TRIED IT AND CRAVING MEXICAN FOOD CANCEL ALL OTHER PLANS TO OTHER RESTAURANTS BECAUSE YOU NEED TO EAT HERE!
This food is always good. The salsa, the measure by which I judge a Mexican food restaurant, is great! Staff is friendly and the restaurant is always clean. Just avoid going between 12 and 1230 during the week. It's crazy busy in there unless you have good timing. Most of the other times, the wait is minimal.
Wow this lace does not disappoint, fresh delicious chips & salsa, food made to order, regardless of what my husband and I order it always taste fresh & delicious, do yourself a favor and order the chicken tostada, beef tacos & beef enchiladas.

I placed an order of enchiladas, tamales, rice, beans, and salsa for 10-12 people today. The woman (Amanda I think) that answered the phone was very friendly. She went above and beyond to make sure they were able to fulfill my order and have it ready in time (a few hours later). I arrived at the restaurant at the specified time and they were finishing up the order. Amanda said I could back up to the front of restaurant and she would load the car. I was a little nervous about getting enchilada sauce in the trunk but the foil containers and lids kept everything secure. Not a drop in the trunk! I was very pleased with all of the food. Everything tasted very fresh, enchiladas had plenty of meat, cheese, and red sauce. Rice was fluffy and flavorful; beans were also tasty. The chips and salsa were very fresh.
Added bonus: Amanda provided a mild salsa along with the spicier one in case someone wanted mild. Nice touch!
I am so thankful that El Mariachi was able to help me out today. The food was delicious, filling, and made for a stress-free dinner. Looking forward to leftovers tomorrow! I will not hesitate to call El Mariachi in the future. Thank you again for excellent food and service!

Nice little "hole-in-the-wall" place. Delicious food for a reasonable price. I stop by periodically for lunch and they're always good.
My wife and I go often and have always enjoyed it. Good service, good food. They have the best salsa for the chips. My only issue, and a small one, is that they now only include the chips and salsa if the order is over $10.00.
We have always been happy with the food and service.
