Happened upon this place a few years ago while canping at the state park up the road. Raccoons had ravaged our breakfast food (who knew they could open coolers?!) anyways it was the best thing that could’ve happened bc we found Stevie Lew’s and in doing so, discovered a gem of a restaurant!! Top notch food, coffee, desserts, and company (their entire family is the sweetest!) My husband returned at a later time and was able to sit with the owner to discuss entrepreneurship at length. Warm, friendly, and hospitable would be an understatement in describing this place and it’s ownership.
I am in the Coast Guard and part of a team responding to Hurricane Harvey relief. We spotted this place while driving through Rockport and wanted to check out some local bbq flavor. Rockport was devastated by the hurricane, so I wasn't sure if they would be open. We checked in and found that not only were they open, they had been helping the community by sharing free meals! They warmly excepted us and went out of their way to fix us a plate. The sausage was amazing! Stevie and his family are truly a God send to that town and my heart goes out to everyone. I will definitely make my way back there during my stay here and hopefully have another great conversation and amazing food!
We sure do miss these guys and the delicious food. Always a must when we are in town. We have never been disappointed. Great food, awesome service and really good prices!

Well for starters, the Meinhausen family are some of the sweetest people I know. On top of that, the BBQ sauce is hands down the best I've ever had!

We are visiting from San Diego. The brisket and pulled pork were melt in your mouth tender. Potato salad and creamed corn delicious. Peach cobbler....oh myyyyy. :) Love that their meats are not drowned in sauce. They have the most awesome sauces that you use or not. Service was fast, friendly and the young people the most courteous ever. A must if you are in the area.

I want to thank y'all from the bottom of my heart for treating my dad and his buddies so amazing. When he FaceTimed me Friday night I asked him what they had been eating and he said there has been no shortage on good food! Firefighters love them some BBQ� He said y'all were so generous with feeding them some amazing BBQ and letting them shower. If anyone I know is around rockport, I will be sending them y'alls way!! And if we are ever that way, we will definitely come by and get some good food� we are constantly praying for y'all up here� thank you again!!!

The BBQ and bread pudding here is off the charts. We have been here several times, and the jalapeño cheese sausage and brisket are our favorite, and the cream corn along with their great desserts. Always great service. This last trip I bought some of their salted Caramel coffee they can grind the beans there for you as well. It was delicious. Just wish they were open later in the evening.
They've told me about this joint, and gotta say it didn't disappoint. Overall, great food full of deliciousness, just the right mix of smoke and seasoning to not be bold but enjoy the meat flavor. The smoke rings were on point, proteins moist and the staff friendly as can be in a small Texas town. You get 3 different sauces with your bbq order, yet some people say "good BBQ needs no sauce" and this is one that needs no sauce at all. If you're ever in their neck of the woods, consider stopping by. You'll love the food.

While we haven’t lived far from Rockport, we moved here about a month ago. Normally we try and have BBQ on Saturday’s and we scouted the area and decided to give Stevie Lew’s a try.

Started out with a 1/2 pound of burnt ends and then wife and I shared a sliced brisket sandwich. Amazing!!!
The place is quaint and the customer service is friendly and quick.
This will definitely be our ‘go-to’ spot from now on!
Second time eating (5/27/23) and it was damn good again. Didn’t expect it otherwise. Don’t miss out folks…GET YA SOME!
My wife went for lunch yesterday and had Brisket, Chicken, and Sausage with sides of Creamed Corn & Potato Salad. Everything was fantastic. In addition, the entire staff are wonderful, friendly folks with servant hearts. We have been to Stevie Lew's probably at least 20 times over the years and have never been disappointed. We will continue to be loyal customers. God bless y'all.
Excellent BBQ! Great atmosphere and super friendly staff. We had the Bubba Jr. Sampler plate and it was delicious. It consisted of chicken, pulled pork, one huge rib and a choice of a regular or jalapeno cheese sausage. It also comes with cowboy beans( very tasty) and bread. Onions , pickles and jalapenos are available near the beverage station. We each had our own and had to pack up leftovers to go. The prices are very reasonable and the menu provides choices to suit anyone's taste. This is definitely one of the best values in town.
The best BBQ I have ever had. Great meat, great sides and the sauce is over the top. I don't care for bbq sauce at 90% of the places. This que does not need the sauce but it is like icing on a really good cake. This is a must.
As a Texan who travels the state frequently and visits all the BBQ places I can gladly say Stevie Lew's is AMAZING!!! I've been to Pody's in Pecos, Lums in Junction, etc, etc, and now I can cross Stevies off the list.
First: their coffee and breakfast items were soooo good. We had a white chocolate mocha, several kolaches, and a cinnamon roll bigger than most people's grooms cake!! It was huge!
Lunch was a delight!!!! The BBQ Jambalaya was so good!!! Their ribs and brisket and burger, chicken, cream corn, EVERYTHING was perfectly cook!!

We were driving back home on Thanks giving Day, and we were looking for something to eat, most restaurants closed obviously, we stopped thinking it was open, we were so kindly received by the owners that were having their Thanks Giving Family Dinner 🫣, they shared their super delicious turkey dinner with my family. Great gift of generosity. We will visit this place in the near future to try their BBQ which I will bet is delicious!
Great food, good size portions, ambiance is fun. Big menu lots of options, even more when you get inside. Food came out quick and staff was friendly. I recommend and will definitely come back! Creamed corn is better than a lot of places I’ve been to. *Food Hack: add some of the bbq to your potato salad, soooo good!!*
