A great husband and wife duo that ensures your meal is delicious. This is a small house now restaurant with very limited seating. Reservations are a must for dining inside.
It's tucked out of the way in Fulton. It's outstanding for date night, if you make reservations. The service was a little slow for only 5 tables but that ended up being part of the charm of the place and the outstanding food makes up for it easily.
What a wonderful find. Small and intimate. Reservations only. Owners are very involved in the experience. The food was amazing. The wife came over and spent time with my wife teaching her proper chop stick usage. It was sooo fun. Will definitely be back!!
10/5 stars! I love this place and visit every time I'm in town. I live out of state so I don't go often but when I do it's 100% worth it. Mom and Pop shop and the sushi is high quality. The owners are lovely.
Hands down the best sushi you will get along the coast. Make a reservation first, that is the only way you get in. Lovely atmosphere and wonderful people.
The restaurant requires reservation. If you are lucky and they are not busy, they will serve you. The food is very tasty and very fresh. Authentic Japanese food. I would come back with my husband again
I stopped in as I headed through for vacation. They do service by reservation but let me join them for a early lunch as they opened. They were warm and welcoming with a great menu. I ordered the sushi bento C and was thoroughly satisfied with it. I could barely finish all of it, the portion size was good for the price. If anyone is looking for good Japanese cuisine I absolutely recommend stopping in.
Lucky lucky, sushi lucky! I regularly visit Rockport and I really wanted to try this cute little authentic Japanese sushi restaurant. I saw takoyaki on the menu and it took me back to my Tokyo days. Not many J restaurants in TX make takoyaki. I enjoyed these tasty octopus balls with the smoked fish flakes on top. I also ordered classic edamame; nicely seasoned and fresh. Spicy tuna roll and CA Dream. All was good, fresh rice, nicely rolled and prepared by a husband/wife duo. I ordered for pick up. I would love to go back and have some sashimi and potato croquettes for dine in some day.
We were visiting Rockport with a goal in mind: to enjoy fresh seafood the whole weekend! This place definitely did not disappoint as one of the stops on our quest - it was absolutely fine dining and very exquisite and flavorful. Will definitely go back next time visiting.
We stopped by on a Friday and saw they are reservation only, so popped in to make a reservation for the following evening. When we arrived the next evening, our table was awaiting us right away.
We do have a baby and one thing to mention is that they did not have a high chair there! Luckily we happened to have a booster seat with us, but would have had to order the food to-go if not.
Overall had such a pleasant time, and there were several menu options for baby to enjoy also.
This place is amazing. The building is verysmall, but the food is AMAZING!!! The owners let us sit down for lunch...eventhough we didn't have a reservation. I can't believe this place is here. Do yourself a favor and stop in and experience it for yourself. We will definitely be back.
