This may be the best Popeyes we've been to. Maybe they had a change of management.
The building itself is old but they took care of the outside and inside so it was clean. There was a line since it was during lunch time, but the line moved really quick. We got our food before we even finishing getting our soda. The food was really fresh and still warm.
Overall a great experience and kudos to management for keeping up with the place 👏👏👏
Food and service was excellent, we love the biscuits as always. BUT nobody answers the damn phone! This is a HUGE FRUSTRATION. Hubby forgot his phone while we were traveling from San Leon thru to Corpus Christi. We had to retrace over 30 minutes driving and then go back to where our hotel reservations were. We have international phones and couldn't use the online ordering app or web site to reach the restaurant. Having someone answer the phone would have RESOLVED EVERYTHING.
Food was fresh, fast and super friendly service, I went through drive through and got helped immediately and the wait wasn’t long for my food to come out. Definitely recommend to the rockport area!
This restaurant seems to have an issue with out of stocks. However, I had the Blackened Chicken Sandwich, and it was great. I wish they had a fish sandwich on the menu full time.
This had to be the best Popeyes we have ever eaten at. The chicken was perfect and all the sides were spot on. The place is clean and newly remodeled. Probably the best restaurant in Texas!

There’s one thing I can say is when the manager Janet Havens is working you get your order quick and it’s fresh. We went to eat dinner one evening of course Janet want working then and we waited a hour and didn’t even get what we ordered. Huge mistake won’t do that again. I wish there were two of her so one can work Morning and the evening shift. Thank you so much Janet I will definitely see you between 10-7:30.
We stopped on our way home from Seafair today. Austin, the young man that took our order, was wonderful. He was friendly, acted like he was happy to be there, suggested an alternative to what we had ordered (which was a better deal) and our food was ready quickly. Overall great experience. Businesses need more Austins.
