Really good food. A fun place to eat. Have been there several times and always good food and service. You get your moneys worth and have some very interesting items on the menu. However, if you are into fancy food and surroundings this is not your place. I think it is just fun to kick back once in awhile and this is my go to place.
Let's talk about "Hoots Country Kitchen" I wanted to try several things before I gave it a review. Well I can't say enough for the staff, especially Harley, this girl is sooo sweet and friendly. Now the food, some of their combinations sound a bit strange but I have tried them anyway. I have not found one single thing that I do not LOVE. The brisket is amazing and so very tender. The portion size are just as awesome. You will not be hungry after your meal. The "Twisted Frito Pie" container is as heavy as a brick! You could feed 3 people off this one container. Prices are affordable. If you haven't ate at this little gem ....... You are missing out. Closed on Sunday and Thursday. They do not have an inside place to sit and eat, but they do have several picnic tables. I always call ahead and get mine to go. Haven't been disappointed yet.
My favorite place to order out in rockport !!!! I'd recommend hoots country kitchen to anyone. People who come to visit get a special treat always when we order hoots !!!! Cause they give a hoot about the food I dig it . New breakfast options are great also ..!!..
Can I give it TEN stars? They deserve it.

You can't possibly say anything bad about this place. Enjoy the drive out there and come away with more great food than you can carry! You'll be glad you found this little jewel!
I got a fabulous "Twisted Frito Pie" I will be able to make THREE meals of, and when I get done with that I'll be back for a loaded BBQ potato!!!

So thoroughly impressed with this little place from just one visit! Had the pleasure of trying them out on Fiesta Bowl day. Chicken fajita, rice, beans and cheese with fixings and a side salad for a great price! Such a great price that I had to add another side and some apple pie! It was delicious, didn't have to wait long, and the environment makes you feel like your picnicking in your back yard!
Me and my family had lunch there yesterday. Food was EXCELLENT! Little lady at the window was super friendly and thankful we came out. Ordered the Tuesday special which was the Barnyard dog... was quite filling in very tasty! Hoot's is the real MVP�

Can't believe I didn't try this place earlier! Maybe because I thought it was a little out of the way??? It's worth it. Breakfast tacos for under $4 are a bargain. Unique breakfast sandwiches...BLT with an egg and cheese - outstanding! Will be back to try the BBQ. All fresh, all homemade. Dad smokes the meats, mom cooks the sides and desserts and daughter man's the sales window! I love it. More later....

3rd time here The breakfast tacos are huge and just excelland today I had the meat brisket loaded baked potato that I will be eating for the next 3 days and it's absolutely awesome!!!!!!!!!!!

The briskit is fantastic. Had it on my loaded tots. Very friendly service. They have a nice gazebo but no indoor seating. Drive or walk through.

Stopped here because I'd heard the breakfast tacos were good. By 10:00 am they had run out so they must have been. Very friendly young lady at drive-thru suggested Brisket tacos as substitute. The order of two flour tortillas were loaded with tasty tender Brisket, along with Pico, BBQ sauce, cheese and sour cream if desired. A bargain at $7! Can't wait to try again!
Went to hoots for the first time today my husband had the hoots hamburger it was awesome. I had the brisket tacos so yummy highly recommend. We also had the mac and cheese very yummy and the homemade potatoe salad I'm very picky with the potatoe salad but this was super delicious. We got some sausage with barbecue sauce pickles and onions very delicious the barbecue sauce is finger linking good. It is ran by Robert and Sally the owners and their daughter Harley amazing by amazing people. Will continue to go hear for life
Food is as great as the people working there. First time there and they were willing to explain all options. I was a little appreciative to post because i am worried too many people will come. I will be back tomorrow for the brisket breakfast tacos!
Hidden gem. The ratings system is 5 stars and I still think it should be 10. It's that good.

Hoots is on my best of list for Rockport Fulton. Four of us decided the brisket is the best we've had. That's saying something since we are visiting from KS. Went back the next day and bought more by the pound. There is seating outdoors. Order at the drive up window (cash only).
Really is the hole in the wall with the most amazing food and the staff to match. Had the brisket tacos and the most amazing orange creamsicle float ever. A must try if you're in the area.
Wow! Great brisket and sides meal today. Brisket was butter tender, green beans and potato with onion side dishes were spot on. We were given a sample of corn casserole also, love it. Excellent price and ample servings. We will be back.
Happened on Hoot's and stopped for a great lunch with friends. We each ordered something different and were well pleased. The Tackle Box, the most surprising blend of weiner, barbecue, chili, mac and cheese and other ingredients was awesome. The staff were all friendly, and everyone who goes there is charmed by the wonderful Red Raider, Harley.
Worth the drive. You will not be disappointed.
Perfect drive through stop on our way home from our trip to the Rockport area. We got brisket tacos, something so simple was so delicious. The best food we had in the area, and the service was super friendly.
