We took a midweek drive to Texas Southwind Winery and had a tasting with our excellent host Sherry. The wines were wonderful for our pallet and the 3 hour drive to get there is one we'll be doing again in the near future. We left with several bottles of our favorite wines. Sherry let us know that
I get a shipment every month. The wines are wonderful. We usually try at least one new one as they are released and while we have found some we don't care for that is personal preference. We love the strawberry, blueberry, blackberry, red raspberry and purple rose.
Drove down from San Antonio just for the tasting experience. Marissa was very informative and our tasting experience was lovely. The wine is so good and pairs great with a charcuterie board. Will definitely enjoy Southwind Vineyard wine again and again.

Went on a trip just to visit this place. Its a great little vineyard with a charm and peaceful, relaxing feel. Tasted about 4 wines; loved the apple one. Recommend if you’re in the area; nice little detour.
