Color Of Spices - Rockville Centre - Photo album

I got takeout for my birthday—tandoor chicken, garlic rosemary naan, shrimp curry, and a mango lassi. Everything was so good. I've eaten at Color of Spices before; it's always good. But I will agree with other reviews; it was better pre-COVID (but many restaurants I find have had a tough time since
I’ve been eating in and taking out from this restaurant for the past several months. It’s become my go to for Indian food. The food is excellent and the prices are very fair. Quality and freshness are terrific! I hope they build a good following and are around for a long time. It’s close to home whi
Went here today for lunch. The Lamb Kebab and Goat Curry was just right. Curry offered just the right amount of heat. The portions could be more for the cost, I think. But then again it's in RVC.
Absolutely amazing Indian food! We went with veggie samosas and side of garlic naan to start which were great! But main dishes were to absolutely flavorful! Chicken tandoori was well marinated and lamb vindaloo was so tender with great spice at medium! Always get the saag curry as a more mild dish t
Had lunch on a Saturday. Assorted Vegetable appetizer, Shahi Paneer korma and mixed tandoori grill. The Paneer was delicious in a rich curry. And the chicken tikka and other grilled meats were moist and good. Will come back.
I had to order last minute catering for a small party, they usually need a day in advance but they still accommodated my last minute request. Food was so fresh and delicious. Lots of compliments. Had the saag chicken and chicken biryani with garlic naan! (Tray 2 and was plentiful).
Food was delicious at lunch - ordered the vegetable pakora for starter and rogan josh with potato paratha for my entree. The waiter asked about preferred spice level, and it was perfectly medium spicy. Service was great and I liked having the complimentary papadum with dipping sauces for a little n
If you enjoy authentic Indian food and excellent hospitality, then Color of Spices in Rockville Centre needs to be on your go-to list. The decor is traditional Indian and makes you feel like you stepped into Mumbai. The aromas and foods served were excellently prepared and ample portioned. For start
I visited in February 2020, I must say Color of Spice has changed my opinion of indian food. The food was amazing !!! Suggestion: if you don't normally eat spicy food , they will ask you spice level, go mild!!! As a person who enjoys spicy caribbean food, I asked for the mild/spicy and that was flav
My daughter and I had dinner here for the first time and we really enjoyed it. The restaurant decor was very nice and not at all old looking as someone commented in their review and the service was excellent. We ordered the curry chicken, curry shrimp, nan and, chickpea fitters and, everything was d
Amazing food, quality meat, the spices are perfect and not too American Indian. It definitely comes with a more traditional taste and flavor. I love this place and will continue to order from here. My ONLY gripe is that they're very very slow to cook the orders.
Lots of flavor, very good Indian cuisine
Decent food and nice ambience, but slow service.
Royal Indian kind of setup, a bit fancy but different! Staff is nice, place is clean, food is very tasty and flavorful! Place is closed on Mondays , and everyday during 3pm-5pm. Must try if you are in town for some Indian food!
