The best kabobs I have ever had. They are all good, but the chicken is my favorite. The chicken is delicious and super tender. Whether it's eat in or carry out, I have always been pleased with the quality and portion size. The people who run the place are very nice and the service is good. I think they are better than that other place that rhymes with oby ick. The market next store is nice and they have items you can't get anywhere else. Whenever I can't figure out what to eat, I go to Kabobi because I know it's gonna hit the spot!

Had a lunch platter combination with meat and chicken. Comes with rice and a salad. Delicious and had enough to bring home for dinner!!

Always a great meal, and excellent service, for a very good price. Most delicious hot tea. Stop in the store for the best Medjool dates, walnuts, pistachios, produce, and Middle Eastern delicacies.

The best Persian food in the area. Try the rice from the bottom of the pot...it's awesome.

We love the food, the service, the entire experience. Last night was especially delicious. Being able to substitute regular saffron rice for Shirin rice (jeweled rice) is fantastic. I had the Chicken Soltani combination. Simply divine. Can't wait to go back.

Excellent food but it's a very small sitting area and it's so loud don't really plan on having an conversation with anyone

We love to eat at Yekta whenever we are in the Rockville area. The kabobs are always delicious. My husband likes the Cornish hens. Love the atmosphere too. We don't have a good Persian restaurant in our area, so love going there.

Honestly one of my favorite places to grab take out. We adore both the beef and chicken koobideh. They have great options and large portions. The market is also a great place to pick up provisions.

Although the grocery store is small, it has just about everything you when food shopping. The prices are reasonable, taking in consideration the fact that there are not many Persian groceries in the area. I like the fact that veggies and fruits are always fresh. They also have great collection of middle eastern desserts.

Persian Kabobi restaurant. Very good ambience. It is beyond an eatery unlike other middle eastern or indian restaurants. I cannot say it is 100% authentic but very tasty. Chicken and Salmon kabobs are great! Barg is not the same as you find in an Iranian restaurants but it tastes very good. For two, the bill is about $50-$60. You don’t regret, go for it!

I have always been a fan of the Yekta market. While I ate at the restaurant on occasion, I always found it super overpriced. Now that they closed the dining room and turned it into a full supermarket with kitchen counter - it's much better. They now offer bowls for a more casual dining option which I love. I always go for the lamb or chicken kubideh with all the eggplant purees, shirazi salad, and sautéed vegetables instead of rice. I also love all their stews, especially the ghorma sabzi - reminds me of my grandma's! The tahdig is super thick and the portions are so generous! The market is great and has everything you would need, from great cheeses to pantry items, frozen items, fresh produce, breads and cookies. They also have prepared foods for sale which is also super convenient. Everything here is higher priced, but worth it. Service is good.

Every time we come to the Rockville / Bethesda area, we almost always stop by Yekta Kabobi restaurant for lunch or dinner. This Persian restaurant is one of our most favorite restaurants anywhere. It feels comfortable and elegant, the service is excellent, and their food is delicious and reasonable. We usually visit here for lunch, and for that, we typically order the following dishes: Starter: Kashke Bademjan (Fried Eggplant with Fermented Whey, Onions and Mint) Sandwich: Zaban (Seasoned Beef Tongue) Lunch Special: Chenjeh (Marinated Certified Angus Beef® Strip Loin Shish Kabob) Dessert: Bastanee (Saffron Ice Cream with Rosewater and Pistachios) We have never tasted something like Kashke Bademjan (Eggplant Spread) anywhere else, and it's addictive. Bastanee (Saffron Ice Cream) is simply amazing. All other dishes we have tried are excellent, especially Lamb Kabobs. A bonus: There is a Persian grocery store next to the restaurant. It is so fun to explore this store.

The food here is good and the decor is really authentic. Service was great and we enjoyed the overall experience. The meats are the strong side of Yekta with flavorful and fresh options to go around. We will be back

Ate lunch here with coworkers.t's more expensive than your average kabob place but the quality of the food and the services is great. There is also a market attached. Spent about 30 usd.

Had lunch here on a Saturday. No lunch menu was disappointing as the lunch specials are great. I had the Ghormeh Sabzi, which is an herb stew. It was OK. Not much meat, probably would not order again. The rice accompaniment was delicious as was the shirazi salad. My wife had the chejeh kabob platter which was great. Tons of large pieces of perfectly cooked Angus beef. Nice place, good service, and the grocery next store is definitely worth a stop after you eat.

Loved this place! First time trying Persian food. The server was very helpful, especially considering we didn't even know how to eat one of our dishes. My boyfriend and I split 2 appetizers and 1 kabob entree, and they actually split the entree onto 2 separate plates for us. The food was all delicious and I would love to go back
