Friendly staff. Food was hot and very good. They have beer!! Will definitely come here again. Sesame chicken was perfect! Chicken fried rice was very flavorful. Waiter was very attentive. Great little spot.
You get what you pay for with Taipei Tokyo. Service is top tier when we order. We always get a large order to go with sushi and other dishes. So far nothing has been bad but we like the beef noodle soup and sushi the best. If you are in the area, you really can’t go wrong.
Taipei Tokyo is my absolute FAVORITE place to get food in the area! They have great deals for lunch specials and dinner and they have some of the BEST sushi in the area. Their Pad Thai is authentic and it is a very generous portion and very delicious. The people that work there are so nice and it is family owned and operated, so your support to this restaurant would be going to a great place. Their soup is also out of this world and the crab wontons are the best I've ever had! HIGHLY recommend <3 I go here at least once a month because it is so good and they are so nice. Take your friends and family and you will be so happy that you did.
This was the most special sushi experience my family ever had. A cousin of ours knows the chef, and he pulled out ALL the stops and off the menu dishes. They were delicious and stunning. The sashimi quality is always top notch.
I don't know why people complain about service. Most people do take out here, so their staff is limited. Take a chill pill when you're at an authentic Japanese place. If you want faster service, go to a food court at a mall. Just don't complain about the quality and taste then.

I came in to grab a to go order before work. It was my 1st time. The food is pretty good, however they forgot to put my fried rice in my bag. Overall I like it. Taste good.
Alright. This place is pretty great. We got 3 rolls with the lunch special and a soup for under $13. That’s CRAZY. Will be coming back and definitely recommending to friends. The food is pretty delicious too!! Yulin was very attentive and was a great server!! Thank you!

Tapei Tokyo is a hidden gem and one of our go-tos for dining in or take out! I really enjoy the sushi here - more than places in the surrounding area. The value is also great, especially for the variety of menu items. Flora Lee is very kind and makes customers feel really welcomed! Definitely come by and try this place!

Great spot for sushi too! They have a great deal for small maki until 3pm. They have bar seating as well as dining room seating. I have always had quick service and good food! Give it a shot!

Pickup: Food was ready when it said it would be ready. Quick in and out at the restaurant, basically contactless pickup.
Food itself: All the ingredients were fresh, the portion was larger than I expected, rice was a nice texture, nori was slightly crisp, easy to bite into, not chewy at all. Tuna was a nice red color, obviously sashimi grade. Avocado was bright green, no browning what-so-ever, cucumbers were crisp and cut into thin strips. Shrimp tempura was fried well, just enough batter, not too much! The only improvement would be the addition of a little more sauce, but overall the flavor was very good. I'll just order a side of eel sauce or spicy mayo next time. :)
Pretty good food! If you’re looking for authentic Chinese/Taiwanese food, look at the chef specials, that’s what we went with. Their menu has a ton of variety with quite a few cuisines, whether that’s a good or bad thing, I’m not really sure. The restaurant itself isn’t very busy, so there weren’t very many servers. Nonetheless, definitely give this place a shot for tasty, affordable food.
Great spot for families with many food options! We enjoys their wide range of sushi options and the kids enjoyed the shu mai and bento boxes. The waiter was very nice and was quick.

Excellent and fast service. Ms. Flora was very kind and attentive. The thai pineapple fried rice dish was flavorful, hot and a generous portion. Will definitely put this into my food rotation.
I get lunch from this place frequently. The portions are pretty good for the price. On average I'm usually paying around $15 for a decent sized lunch depending on the dish. I am vegetarian so I love their abundant tofu options and some other meat substitutes. Overall I don't think I've had a single bad dish from this place. Not all the best but consistently good. I've seen other reviews say service is bad and while I can't speak on the dine-in service, I do know my online orders are usually there on time and have always been correct. I've gone here about once a week (sometimes twice) for about 4 months.
