Outstanding French baked goods!! The apple strudel was outstanding...a must get. The cheesecake, rectangular cakes and raspberry cookie were fantastic too. $30 for five or six treats so definitely on the expensive side. But a must visit in the area!
Les Delices made our rehearsal dinner cake (lemon hazelnut crunch) and wedding cake (mango passion pistachio) and we couldn’t be happier with the experience!! From our tasting where we got to try many different flavors to the end product, which was delicious and beautiful, we really loved working with this bakery. This is a family business where they put the utmost care and thought into their baked goods and it shows. My guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious the cakes were and we ate leftover cake everyday for a week after the wedding. I’d highly recommend Les Delices to anyone!
We are very impressed by the quality and the taste of the cookies and cakes from this bakery! The taste is out of this world! Not too sweet and just perfect! Vanilla Almond cookies fresh from the oven are mind blowing. We also tried Mango Passion hazelnut crunch cake, Lemon Charlotte cake and they were absolutely fresh and delicious. Cheesecake was better than from New York. Our teen fell in love with the sweet grandma “who really knows how to bake” . I would highly recommend this bakery. The best European quality.
Blown away!! We got the coffee mocha cake to celebrate a birthday. It was beautiful and probably the best cake I’ve ever had! I highly recommend this flavor if you like tiramisu-esque things. I also appreciate that it stays well in the fridge for a couple days and doesn’t dry out. Really kind people working there too! Thank you, Les Delices!
We have been long time customers and decided to order a ceremonial cutting cake (black currant crunch), five cake slices (including the classic chocolate hazelnut crunch), and an assortment of cookies for our wedding. We could not be more satisfied with the process and our desserts. Our guests left talking about how good the dessert was. We would strongly recommend Les Delices for weddings and other special occasions – or just for a casual treat. You won’t find a better local bakery.
No other bakery quite like this. The layered cakes are absolutely a delight to the senses--they have more than 10 different layered cakes, each with 2-3 layers of different but complementary flavors. They're available everyday in individual slices to try and I can't help but purchase at least 4-5 each time.
The various cookies that you can't usually find in more standard places are also reliably good. I love that this is a mom and pop shop that sells unique cakes that aren't duplicated elsewhere.
They've been in business for ...3 decades or something? So go while they still exist.

Hazelnut crunch is out of this world. Almond croissants also exceptional. I did not love the cookies I hot, but that's a matter of taste. Huge assortment, so you're bound to find something you like. Counter staff are courteous and welcoming.
We got 4 cakes from Les Delices for our wedding and they were absolutely perfect. The cakes were beautiful, delicious, and we got rave reviews from all the guests. The cakes from here are unique - mousse cakes with sponge bases that work well in traditional cake flavors as well as fruity ones. They're not overly sweet, and we were able to choose a variety of flavors to accommodate different tastes. We got 3 large cakes, and an allergen-free one. I would recommend this family owned bakery to anybody in the DC area looking for cakes for any occasion (or no occasion at all!). The service was wonderful and is always sweet and friendly. For anybody looking for a recommendation, the black currant crunch (cassis with a hazelnut chocolate base) cannot be beat!
