The owner Roberto was friendly and our server Mateo was polite.
The vegan option, the Roma Pizza was so good. The olives were yummy, my spouse had the salmon and we were pleased. The location is homely and the experience was worth it. Good spot to visit for good Italian food..
This place is amazing! I have never had such perfectly cooked salmon, scallops, and shrimp. Oh, and the wine...so good! 10/10 would come back over and over.
Parking can be tough, but they do validate for the parking lot right in front of the restaurant.
Some of the best pizza we ever had. Truly Italian. Not that fake red sauce out of a jar. Nice thin crust. Made to order while you wait. Plus Roberto is entertaining and good-natured.
Super nice service and outdoor setting. The business followed all the safety guidelines and it was a great experience! Most important thing is the food is great. I will recommend grilled octopus as an appetizer!
It's a friendly restaurant with excellent food and service. I keep going back for the perfect grilled salmon. No other restaurant in this area has a salmon dish that can compare to it.

High-quality Italian food in downtown Rockville next to Subway. At present, I've only tried the pizza -- Neapolitan-style, my favorite! The flash bake pizza oven is right up front along with the toppings bar so you can see the cook preparing your pizza. The pizza itself is light-weight; it is nice for lunch and will feed 2 people at most. Perfect for a date night -- warm, low lighting, plenty of space between table for COVID.
The staff are wonderful. I called mid-afternoon to see if they were open that evening. The staff member confirmed and asked if I wanted to place an order. I was planning to order later in the evening but the staff member assured me that he could take my order at that time over the phone and it would be ready whenever I wanted to stop by. As promised, my pizzas were literally coming out of the as I walked in the door at my scheduled pick-up time.
Finally, good parking out front. Enter the parking lot from Middle Lane past Washington. Free parking for two hours.
Always quality meals! My go to restaurant for lunch & dinner! Closest thing to being in Northern Italy with my family!
Great food and great service. The food was authentic and delicious. Their cannoli were great! I highly recommend it. PS: I took a star because the restaurant is not well heated and I would put white covers on the tables. Some Italian music would have made the ambience even more authentic!
New location for the restaurant, featuring honest and delicious Italian cooking. Talking with the owner he is excited for his new pizza oven which is smaller than in the old location, but heats more evenly. Have had several items from the menu over the years, but I keep coming back to standouts of any grilled fish item, and the gnocchi. Appetizers are all amazing, especially the meatballs.
Amici Miei is fantastic. The folks here who run and work the place are amazingly friendly, and they serve great food. I've never had a bad experience here, and can't wait until things go back to "normal" so I can dine in instead of doing takeout.
Pro tip: Try the Napoli pizza and add prosciutto. Delicious!

Probably my favorite Italian restaurant in the area. I have been coming here for years with varying levels of regularity. I've even attended a Saturday morning cooking class here. A warm, intimate restaurant, the staff is always incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. The menu doesn't change a lot, but the food is always delicious, and I love their coffee selections. There's no kids menu, but I've brought well-behaved kids here and it's gone great. Visiting here, it's easy to see why this place has been here as long as it has.
It's easily a four star. It's definitely short of a five star, but truly is a solid four star.
Our appetizers and entrées were great. The service was incredibly attentive, but not overbearing.
I just think that to get a fifth star food needs to be incredible and memorable, and while I would say that the food was great, I don't think it was incredible and memorable. But I'd go back for sure.
One of the most consistently great Italian joints. Great pizza, homemade pasta and the fish options are always tasty! And if you're lucky enough--FRESH SARDINES! Roberto and his staff always do a fantastic job!
Amici Miei has been my family go to for some time. Love their new location (great lighting, seats, decor, etc) and the food is stellar, as always! Great place to hangout with our whole family (extended members) or just a date night with the wife! Firm lover of the wine tastings and cooking classes too - hope they return. Also the site of my wedding a few years back (seven locks location) and superb memories!
I just love this wonderful restaurant! Every week-end, they have great specials..We went there last Friday, and we had a wonderful time. the food is always top notch! The Sardinian style beef tongue carpaccio was delicious and the saffron gnocchi with scallops, shrimp. clams & bottarga was divine. My friend had the beef cheeks with truffle mashed potato and he was on cloud nine-that's how good it was:)

During the last year, we ordered many a carry-out meal and we were delighted to be able to do so. The standards were maintained throughout the pandemic.
Last week we were finally able to return for a seated dinner and were so very pleased that my comment stands: "The very best!"
A new menu item of note: Orange Tiramisu - if you find it - grab it!
