We had an amazing dining experience at Chettinad Indian Cuisine last night. We were group of 15 people and everyone had an wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and the customer service was top-notch. The ambience was also very nice, and the owners were very friendly and welcoming.
We started with the Chicken lollipop, chicken 65, fish Vanjaram fry, and finally that Sizzling mutton chops(Must Must try) which was perfectly cooked and seasoned. That Caramalized onions on the top, For my main course, I had the Garlic Naan, Chicken Tikka Masala, Goat Briyani which was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. The flavors were incredible. We also tried a few sides, which were all delicious.
The customer service was also excellent. My server was very attentive and friendly, and she made sure that I had everything I needed. She was also very knowledgeable about the menu and was able to answer all of my questions.
The ambience of the restaurant was also very nice. It was dimly lit and had a very romantic feel to it. The tables were also spaced out nicely, so you had plenty of privacy.
Finally, the owners of the restaurant were very friendly and welcoming. They came out to greet us at our table and asked us how our meal was. They were also very interested in hearing our feedback.
Overall, I had an amazing dining experience at Chettinad Indian Cuisine. The food was delicious, the customer service was excellent, and the ambience was great. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience.
I was particularly impressed with the fact that the food was cooked fresh to order.
We’ve been to Chettinad multiple times. This time we ordered gongura mutton and chicken curry, pomphret fish, all the food was very good and had an authentic Indian taste to it. Double ka meetha dessert was the show stealer. One of the unique feature in this restaurant is their service cube where the customers can call for service and pay the bill using this cube which I’ve never seen in any restaurant. Definitely Chettinad Indian cuisine is worth your money.

It’s a small Tamil oriented South Indian restaurant located in a strip mall. The food here is OMG, just absolutely delicious. We went here for lunch and tried the vegetarian Thali and it was worth every single penny and more. We also tried the kothu paratha and that was so flavorful. I have tried many thalis in the DC metro area and tried different types of thalis from different regions of india. But this thali surely takes the prize. Must try!
Went there a couple of times - it's delicious indian food compared to other local indian restaurants in the area. Tried butter chicken, and their goat curry both were good. I'm not a fan of their desserts. Service was slow in both times we went there. You might be waiting a while for food to come to your table. Overall, I'm happy with the food. There is plenty of free parking nearby.

If you in Maryland and especially in Rockville area this is a must to go restaurant for u guys.
The dishes I had were exquisitely splendid in taste.
Proper taste which you find in Tamil and Telugu state of India ,it's ditto over here.
I had a word with the head chef and realised the thinking behind the food prepared here. He said , serving others is God gifted and it's a blessing of feeding others and seeing them leaving happy stomach from this restaurant.
Gonna write more in detail about the food dishes I tried with personal recommendations and ratings too :-
1) Chilli paneer - A must try starter for all vegetarian ppl out there. (4.5/5)
2) Chicken 555 - chicken chunks tossed in a spicy thick gravy and really delicious in taste to start with. (4.2/5)
3) Mutton sukhha - I didn't find it in the menu but u can ask for it. Highly recommended from my side especially if u love mutton (5/5)
4) Tandoori Chicken ( 4.5/5) - Again a chicken starter but too yummy to have. Chicken pieces were just mouth watering and tender soft to eat. (Highly recommended )
5) Chicken kadhai biryani- Chefs special. Every India might go for biryani but I would suggest go for this. (5/5) (Highly recommended). Exactly the same Hyderabadi biryani u find in top restaurant of Hyderabad, It's the same.
6) Mango lassi - For desserts it's highly recommended as it's proper Punjabi style made.
The service was also very prompt and fast.
Restaurant can have 30-40 ppl in a single seating in peak time.

I liked chicken 555 and kadai chicken briyani which i have ordered today. Order arrived within 10 minutes of ordering. I also had their thirunelveli halwa for dessert. It had very authentic taste. I was very happy to eat orignial south indian chettinadu food after so many years.
This is one of our favorite restaurants. We go here all the time. The food is always delicious. This place has the best Dosa and chutneys combination. I have tried Dosa in so many places around the locality and this is the best so far. I definitely recommend this restaurant as mostly all the dishes are good.

Especially the Goat sukka was 10 on 10. It was so perfect that I would repeatedly visit this restaurant. Even the Goat dum briyani was too good with new masala the taste is better than before. Definitely it’s a family friendly restaurant with nice ambiance and good service.
This is a hidden gem. The chettinad food is very authentic and tasty. Very friendly owner and staff. Fish thali and goat Biriyani are my favorite. I am very happy with other items on the menu as well. The prices are reasonable as well.
Amazing place for authentic Indian food. It has varieties of menus with veg and non veg. Satisfying taste and spectacular ambiance. Must try this place. Owners are so friendly and welcoming. Taking good care for customers. Service is amazing. I give 5 star.
Visited Chettinadu after a long time for lunch and was regretting for not coming here often. The spices and flavor that you find in the dishes here are rare to find. Started our lunch with the amazing kozhi mulagu soup. Winter is the best time to enjoy this spicy, peppery and flavorful soup. We also tried muringa soup which was equally good. We had nattu kozhi varuval as appetizer and we loved the masala. We ordered egg Thali, chicken Thali and dum biryani as our main course. Thalis were good, was not a big for of rasam and chickpea curries in the Thali but the chicken curry and side dish were good. Biryani was flavorful. Even loved the mango lassi which helped wash down all the spice. Definitely recommend if you like spicy food. I am definitely going to frequent specially during winter for the awesome soups 😊

It's not always easy to find a server who's not only efficient but also genuinely caring and patient with young children.
While the food was satisfying and met our expectations, it was Priyanka's exceptional service that made this visit truly remarkable. Her warm approach and attentiveness added a personal touch that elevated our dining experience. We appreciate the effort she put into making our time enjoyable, and we look forward to returning in the future. Kudos to Priyanka for going the extra mile and making our visit a memorable one!
This resturant is one of my favorite for lunch. Thali they serve is the best I have ever had.

Goat biriyani, chicken 555, goat chukka where the food i had over here all the food were so delicious it feels so authentic to eat in this restaurant. Amazing service would definitely visit every weekend to this place.
Ordered mutton dum biryani and icecream with gulab jamum. Very tasty and briyani had good amount of mutton pieces. Dessert was sufficient in quantity with 2 pieces of fresh gulab jamun and good quantity of icecream
