Dude..... they serve fries with the gyros. As in, the fries are inside the gyro wrap when they serve it to you. Now that is some boss stuff man. Not something I have seen before. Great idea for one of Rockville’s newest restaurants (and great restaurant name as well!!)

While waiting for our gyro sandwiches to be ready, we selected beverages from their cooler. No one liked either of the Greek beers, the beers tasted less than Bud Lite. Everyone liked the Greek version of Sprite - my guess is that they used cane sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup, and used a lot less. The lamb and beef on the gyros was tender, tasty and plentiful but they lathered on way too much tzatziki. The chicken souvlaki suffered from the same overabundance of tzatziki, which made the sandwiches rather messy to eat. The accompanying shoestring fries were nicely spiced and delicious. The baklava topped with a simple syrup was delicious. With twice as much nutty filling as flaky layers, it is well worth leaving room for dessert.

Came in for dinner on a Friday night. We placed our ordered at the counter for a Patitsio (baked pasta), coke, and a beef gyro. It came out to be $38. The cashier warned me that the Patitsio could take 25 mins to cook, but I decided to proceed with it. I was glad I did, it came after 15 mins of waiting and it was hot and delicious! The cheese, pasta, ground beef and sauce were perfect together. The side of green beans were delicious. My fiancés fries and gyro was great as well.

My husband saw this place and we had been craving gyros for a while so we stopped by to try it out and woooow. We were in for a treat. Walking in, the restaurant is cute, well lit, clean and very nice decor. We ordered 2 beef & lamb gyro and the assorted dips with pita and veggies. With the Greek orange juice drink and a Miller lite. The dips looked so good we forgot to take a pic before we tried it, and once we started, we couldn't stop eating it. All the dips were delicious. Then when the main gyro came out and we took that first bite, wow, bursts of flavor just exploding. Everything was DELICIOUS. We can definitely say we found our new and favorite Gyro restaurant. Highly recommend! Forgot to mention, the service was amazing as well. Everyone was friendly and polite and patient as we took the time to decide what we wanted.

This is my favorite spot to get gyros from. The service is friendly and the portion of the food is a good size. Prices have gone up since I first went there in 2020 but it's totally understandable as prices have gone up everywhere and small businesses are barely making it through. Im happy to support this family business and will continue to stop by anytime I am in the area. I highly recommend!

Gryoland is a hidden little Greek gem on the Rockville pike in North Bethesda, MD. It has a small menu, but the food is affordable for almost anyone, looks excellent, is well presented and tastes amazing! If you are in the area then definitely give this place a shot. They do deserve the attention! Must try - 1. Gyro platters 2. Gyroland burger (cant remember the exact name but you will easily find it ☺️) 3. Greek Salads

My husband and I went here for a take away dinner. We enjoyed hope close it's located to or hotel, just a short walk. The interior is very cute! I love the decor kind of a rustic chic I suppose. Staff were friendly, helpful, and patient. Service was efficient. There food was pretty good. We both had the beef and lamb gyros. I didn't appreciate the fries on the gyro, but I knew from reading the menu that they came on it. I tried it and prefer to have them on the side. I also had the baklovah with was very good, but very, very sweet. Overall I would come back.

It is Greek cafe, not American. Service is Greek. Food is so fresh and delicious! Fast serving and very-very clean. Environment and design? Hm, for people spoiled by luxury, is poor. If you want to have delicious food and are not focused at simple designed space, this place is right for you. One moment: I have an accent in my English and during ordering they understood me hardly.((

One of the top Gyro spots I've been to so far. From the moment you walk in the environment changed completely. The outside is very deceiving of what waits inside. The gentleman who rang us up was nice, could work a bit more on smiling but overall was well, no attitude or customer neglect in any way. The food was exceptional, the bar style top table by the window over looking Congressional Plaza top gives the restaurant a more open & expansive feel. Overall my wife, son & I enjoyed our first time there.

Love the food and the owner. Very casual dining set and it has very good proportions. My only issue the wait time which took more than 15-20 minutes for my food to be ready.

Shared the Mixed Grill Platter with my brother for his bday, food was amazing and plentiful. The spicy cheese dip(Spicy Buyurdi in clay pot) is out of this world.

I found this little gem on a snowy day when most of DC was shut down. I was the only one in the restaurant. I was looking for a vegetarian meal. The staff recommended the open face vegetable soulaki. It looked, smelled, and tasted very good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. It was a very healthy portion size, with 2 skewers of veggies, a side salad, fries, and bread. I did not think it was over priced. It was $10 for the meal. I left full and satisfied.

Just got back from my first visit to Gyroland. Lots of yum to enjoy, but I want to make a special recommendation for two things: the Olivier salad and the mixed grill. The salad is the owner's personal recipe and it's served up in the cutest little pot with soft pitas beside. Perfect! The mixed grill is a thing of beauty. A spinning wooden platter with five meats (or is it six??), hand cut french fries, tomatoes, and a little wooden boat filled up with the best tzaziki since my trip to Athens! And it's no wonder. When I spoke with the chef Niko he confirmed it - an Athens native! Most days they will have three spits going for all of the meat variety you can ask for. And the great thing about Mediterranean food is that veggie options are close at hand. Sofia salad, anyone? Looking forward to the next visit!!

The chicken gyro was good, I got the platter which comes with fries, salad and 4 pita breads, food was authentic and delicious, I prefer eating there rather than Togo.
