China Garden has always been the go to place for Chinese banquets. The food is stellar and premium quality. The beef in the birds nest was so tender and flavorful we couldn't stop eating it. The glass or crystal shrimp was also very yummy. The roast chicken was crisp and moist. Staff was excellent and attentive.

Coming from Chicago, it’s been a long time since I’ve been to a dim sum place that had carts. I didn’t realize how much I missed that trait of being able to see the items hot and steamy and choosing the exact plate you wanted. The food was all fresh and hot. The quality was solid, nothing too greasy, and the variety was abundant enough that the carts were necessary, but not scarce enough that there would be stale items. As always, ordering off menu was an added bonus. Highly recommend

We came here for dim sum, and everything was delicious. The service was extremely quick, and the carts came around right as we sat down. The waitresses were very attentive, and they helped us find the dishes we wanted. We did have to wait to get a table, but it didn’t take too long. Although the dim sum was good, it still can’t compare to the dim sum found internationally in Asia. However, it’s still one of the best we’ve found in the states. Definitely will be back!

A solid dimsum spot overall for reasonable price. The hargow is one of the better ones in the area cause the wrap had that bouncy texture. Other highlights for me were the steamed beef meatballs and the fried shrimp rolls in tofu wraps. On the down side, one of the specials was steamed mystery meat and enoki mushroom in tofu wrap. The enoki mushroom had sand in it and the mystery meat felt like ground up leftover siumai and had a not so great texture. The steamed bun wasn't bad but the bun texture is more on the dry side and not as fluffy as other places. The staff was very friendly and attentive and we enjoyed our meal and would definitely go back!

Just randomly choose a nearby dim sum place for my morning tea in the rainy day 🫖 my friends said that it used to be very tasty here before, probably because the change of the chef that it’s not so delicious now. I give it to 5 stars since the service still not bad and I love the Atmosphere here ..

We had dinner for the first time at the restaurant and everything was great. The place was lively and was super busy. The fish dish was good but they have added lot of spring onions and that wasn't required. The drunken noodles was little dry but it was still good. Other than these minor things, other food items were good. They also gave us free pudding dessert. Overall, we had a good time at the restaurant and this is our one of the to-go chinese spot from now on.

Had a lovely time here; the servers were attentive and helpful if a food item was not appearing or had to be checked on! The food was great , many items hot and fresh as the place was quite full. Will plan to come again ☺️ Messy photo is due to be too busy stuffing face with food

This place is amazing and they have an extremely authentic offering. The weekend dim sum is as good as any and I’ve eaten in New York Chinatown and San Francisco. As good as anything in DC Chinatown. The service is always top notch too. Shall I say that again, very good service. I’ve tried the shrimp & pork dumplings, filet mignon with broccoli and the short ribs bone in with a spicy brown sauce. I’m so glad I found this place. Another point worth mentioning; they’re almost always closed Saturday nights because of private parties but you can still order carry out. I went back for some pork dumplings & Beef Chow Fong and they were wonderful! The dumplings took a little while but in their defense they were freshly made. Finally made it for the wonderful weekend dim sum! Have to come again!

Unbelievable, right under our nose. Suddenly this restaurant appeared on our radar. What a find! Beautiful restaurant and spotless. For appetizers, we tried the steamed pork dumplings, shrimp dumplings and turnip cakes. Oh my goodness! As an entree, we had crispy roasted pig with the skin on as well as crispy soft shell crabs, chicken with ginger and garlic dipping sauce, and green beans as our vegetable. We were delighted! The food was cooked to perfection. The portions were very generous. And our waitress, Mandy. Mandy was truly professional and her service was impeccable. She was very patient as we familiarized ourself with their extensive menu. Thank you chef and crew for your talents. This is definitely a winner.

Awesome experience. Certainly some of the best Chinese food and or Dim Sum I have had. Very long line for a reason. They had plenty of food carts for serving the large dining area and a very large selection of food. Bathroom was nice and seemed well taken care of. Additionally they will validate your parking if you park in the parking lot across the street.

Nice alternative to far east dim sum if you don't like wait in the line for a long time. Their durian crispy isn't as good as the one in far east, but their new durian rice gluten bag is very tasty. All small dishes are authentic. The tofu sheet wrapped meat and vege is a must try. Environment is not too loud and suitable for family.

This review is for the sister restaurant in Tyson's corner. Food came quickly (within 5-10 minutes of ordering) which was incredibly impressive. Dimsum was fine -- the roast pork and shrimp dumplings were great, the shumai and chive dumplings less so. The fish & lotus root dish was AMAZING. Planning to come back; had a wonderful first time.

This is not world class dim sum, but it's the best I've had in the Virginia and Maryland area. Some dishes were a little over-steamed, but nothing was too salty or sweet.

This reminds of their OG Rosslyn location. Highly ceilings and large tables for dim sum brunch or wedding parties. I've stopped by twice recently and this has become my new favorite dim sum spot in the area. It definitely gets packed on the weekends so I recommend coming here early. Textures and flavors here are on point. I always have to order shumai, ribs, turnip cakes, green beans, stream shrimp rice crepe rolls, har gow, and egg tarts. Food always comes out piping hot. If you want anything thats not on the carts you can also order a la carte as well during dim sum hours. Service here is on point. Our drinks and silverware were constantly getting refilled. Parking can be tight on the weekends, but theres plenty of street or garage parking up the street.
