Service was excellent. Carne Flameada was outstanding. Shrimp enchiladas were creamy and delicious. Margarita was very good.
Disappointed that we live far away as we would love to visit again.
I had tamales and pupusa. The tamales were wrapped in plantain leaves. I've only had them wrapped in corn so I enjoyed this new flavor. Pupusa was also new to me. Bland, but good. Of course you could dip it in salsa. This was served with rice and beans, both very good. Service was fine. The place was clean and comfortable.
Wonderful place! Hubs & I took our date night early this week and decided to hit up Gloria's on the harbor. Friendly, non-intrusive staff along with crazy yummy food and a fantastic view made for a very delightful dinner. If you go, try the Honey Bananas (fried plantains, scoop of ice cream, rum sauce, & lit on fire) for dessert! It's fabulous!
Great margaritas and I love the San salvadorian dishes like the pupusas and plantains. My husband likes the chicken and champanones and I usually get the Gloria's super dinner. For lunch I like Nancy's favorite. Great food in a great atmosphere at the RockwLl Harbor.
Favorite. Me & my family love this restaurant! Best service I ever had. It's kind of an upscale Mexican food restaurant & you'll be able to find something you like on their extensive menu. The best mojitos I've ever had by far. I like the surf & turf & my wife gets the brisket tacos. They also have the best guacamole too. Great area on the bay to enjoy the scenery when sitting outside too. This place has it all. If your looking for regular tex mex type of Mexican food you may be a little disappointed but this place grows on you in a hurry. They never disappoint with their service. A+
Consistent. I always liked Gloria's. Their food is always delicious and I love their mango margarita.. I enjoy dining there specially if you like to eat outside l would recommend it with the veiw of the lake and the atmosphere..
Absolutely the strongest and best margaritas in rockwall/Dallas. Best bean dip. Great bartenders that recognize you an go out of their way to speak. Love it!!!
We love this place and the location doesn't hurt either if you want to send the kids off to play while having a cocktail in peace. The price is high for a Margarita for the average Joe but you get a drink with plenty of alcohol; two drinks is usually to much for the lightweight, Taxi please. Chile Relleno and the Championes De Pollo are my favorites plus they have great hot sauce to go along with those chips.
Not your average Tex Mex. The view of the harbor is a great setting for the delicious food and friendly service. The pupusa was delicious and the food is a step above your average greasy Mexican food.
Gloria's at the Harbor is one of my family's favorite restaurants. The food is incredible, but I think their service is even better. Monday-Wednesday all day they have half price mojitos which are the best I've ever had.
Prime Mexican Food. What's not to love? The quality of food is extremely good, the service is stellar and the location has fantastic harbor views.
I like Glorias and this is a great location. I have always liked Glorias. I don't think they have the absolute best food but it is good. The view of the lake from the little on the water shopping center that Glorias is in is pretty cool and pretty rare in DFW.
The only type of mexican food I'll eat in Rockwall. I don't normally eat tex-mex because of all of the grease and cheese, so we'll come here instead. My favorite dishes are the salmon costeno, salmon chimichurri salad, chicken soup and pollo assado combinado. The bean dip and desserts are great too. Service has always been excellent, very friendly and attentive.
Love sunsets over the harbor while eating here. Their enchiladas and grilled salmon are very good!!!
Can't beat the sunsets inside by the large windows or out on the patio over the Rockwall Harbour - always worth the wait!!!
Good meal. We had a large group for lunch. Fajita meat was tender and flavorable. Delicious flour tortillas. Waitstaff was a little overwhelmed by our table and had trouble dividing the check. Prices reasonable.
This place is so good, probably one of my favorite restaraunts in Dallas. The chicken nachos are so delicious. And the tres leche dessert is awesome to eat at the end. The waiters are sometimes slow, bit besides that this place is dank!
The servers act like illegal immigrants forced to work by there evil master! They are so incredibly rude ! I've been here at least 10 times and I have yet experienced a server that was helpful. On a better note the food is delicious and very well priced for the quality!
Everytime we go here it's great! The service is perfect and the food is wonderful! The margaritas are dome of the best!
Consistently great!. We go to Gloria's to enjoy the harbor and watch the sunset on the lake. The service is good and the food tastes great. We have been several times and go there when we want to relax and have a good dinner. We like the Dallas location as well!
We go to the one @ Oak Cliff,. Go one day it is a great place for lunch or dinner. We go whenever we are in town.
Had a great lunch here today. The good was fresh and delicious. The service was tops. The atmosphere and views were enjoyable. Tres Leche was really good. Cannot wait to go again!
Absolutely the best experience! Alexa our waitress was amazing food, perfect!!! We will definitely visit this location again when we are back in Texas. The steak was the absolute best I've ever had in an Latin establishment! I hope these photos does this place justice! 5 stars is not enough!
Thankfully my husband made a reservation before we headed over but we were seated within five minutes of arrival. We were lucky to find the little couch or love seat open right inside of the front door to wait at till our table was ready. As busy as it was there, I was greatly impressed with how good the service was with keeping our glasses full of water and teas, taking extra plates off of the tables. The food of course was amazing, pretty much everything I’ve ever tried from Gloria’s has been just full of flavor and shows very well too. I always try to try something new whenever I end up at one of these locations. The patio area has great views of the lake I can’t wait to come back to watch a good sunset. The whole vibe of the restaurant is well thought out and makes the whole visit there a memorable time.

Came here for dinner on Sunday night and it was BUSY to say the least! Although this is the second time I've tried to eat at this Gloria's, I apparently didn't get the hint by making a reservation beforehand! The whole meal that we had had tasted great, our server was so nice, and we had a good time. The only thing that wasn't good were the drinks. We started off by ordering some margaritas on the rocks - the Spicy Mango and Spicy Pineapple Margaritas. One sip in and my drink was entirely too sweet - so was my friend's. We didn't want to complain but they were just too sweet to drink. Our server was so nice and offered to replace them. We ended up ordering two Palomas in Moscow. When we tried those drinks we realized that the margaritas weren't a fluke but at that point it was the bartender - the Palomas were too sweet as well. Come to find out from our server later, their regular bartenders weren't working that night and the two they had were fill-ins. That was a let down. Because I don't like to waste alcohol 😂(and our server had kindly said before he brought the Palomas out that we couldn't swap again) I slowly drank my drink but it took me a while, even after finishing my meal. Besides that, all of our food tasted great.
We shared the Pupusas and the Combination Fajitas. The Pupusas were hot and delicious and the slaw was just right. The Fajitas were also really good, the steak cooked just right and both the corn and flour tortillas tasted great. The rice and beans that are usually an after thought at many other Tex-Mex and Latin restaurants were also really good - the rice was so flavorful!
For dessert we ended everything out with the Flan (mainly because it's my one and only favorite dessert and I hadn't tried it at Gloria's before), and it was so decadent and creamy! That was one of the best Flan's I've ever had 🤤 Besides the bad drinks - and they were bad - the rest of my meal was really good and our server was very attentive and super nice. I will definitely be back for that Flan!
I ordered Cowboy Omelette from Brunch Menu. It was almost impossible to finish the plate since it had too many potatoes. Loved the service; however, the food was almost too salty and greasy. Overall, a good place to go!
The view was good, the service was good, priced are a bit elevated but OK overall. We ordered the Mimosas and the champagne La Marc Prosecco with the 3 types of mimosa options mango, OJ or pomegranate along with Camarones plate and steak and shrimp fajitas for two which was also good with decent portions.
Very delicious Food, and the customer service is amazing. However if you want to enjoy a really good plate from here, I definitely recommend everyone to make reservations since we had to wait 2 hrs a table for 2 people.
Great Latin food, great atmosphere, and great service! I've come here many times and am never disappointed! The variety of food is great! I look forward to the experience and food every time!
