Hands down some of the best catfish I've had and worth every penny! The owner and her mother and staff are super friendly and very sweet. Everything is cooked to order. Even my daughter that doesn't prefer fish devoured the catfish! The banana pudding was a hit as well.
Overall food was pretty good. This place is nestled in a small shopping center in Downtown Rockwall. I went today(Sunday) about noon so line wasn't bad at all. Excellent Catfish...Did not taste fishy at all! The Hush puppies and Banana Pudding were delicious also! I had the Mac and cheese..it was very delicious too! Its in the corner of the shopping center right off 205/Goliad. They have other dessert options as well. Make sure to check their facebook page
I really wanted to like this place. It’s a hole in the wall with some charm which I can appreciate. But my shoes were sticking to the floor which was a little off putting.
As for food the collard greens were my favorite. Catfish was good but slightly over cooked and heavily breaded. Same with shrimp
