We FINALLY made it to eat at Sideways and I’m so mad that we waited so long. Everything from service to food was absolutely phenomenal. We felt the price was completely fair and loved the environment. Definitely my favorite place to eat in Rockwall County!
Listen.. the brisket IS good like all the reviews say but that’s about it….
Service was mediocre, the sides were extremely disappointing(mac&cheese was very under cooked), and the music Was really loud. The view and brisket are the reason for the two stars.
We all loved the Texas BBQ. Fun atmosphere. Friendly staff. Great tasting appetizers. Fried pickels, and fried cauliflower. Side dishes mac-n-cheese and potatoes were very good. The brisket was AWESOME.

Always a good time at this place. Live music all the time, although not always the genre that you might prefer. But atmosphere always feels right and the food is awesome.
Starting with warm draft beer then moving on to greasy brisket. The mozzarella sticks and fried okra tastes the same. Old oil I suspect. Stay away!!!
