This gem is located in a little strip shopping center right off of the HWY I30. The food....WOW! We started with a tempura appetizer consisting of shrimp, broccoli, mushroom, onion, and sweet potato....came out hot and cooked to perfection. I'm not Japanese restaurant expert, but this place is pretty good. The tempura shrimp in my Rockwall Roll was crunchy and the roll itself flavorful, very good quality. I was surprised by how simple and flavorful the friefd rice was. I had eaten a few bites before I took the picture!
We had great service, great food, and a great experience. The sushi was fresh and delicious. We were very pleased with our server as well. We did regular dine in, not hibachi. I have no clue why some of the reviews are so critical, but as far as sushi goes, this is one of the top in Rockwall.
