I had always overlooked red lobster because personally I can’t do too much seafood, but this day I went my perspective on this restaurant changed. I came here on thanksgiving day celebrating with a dear friend of mine and even the waiter made us feel very comfortable. I can’t recall her name, but she had curly light brown hair set in a ponytail and wore glasses. I compliment the manager for hiring this young woman. She was professional yet very sweet and friendly.
Red lobster is a chain restaurant with the purpose of affordable sea food whether you’re close to the ocean or not. It all started in 1968 when Bill Darden wanted to share the love of seafood with the rest of the world. It was a single, family owned restaurant in Lakeland Florida and has now expanded to 700 other restaurants.
The specific one I went too is located on Redwood drive on the west side of Rohnert park. They have their own parking lot so there’s plenty of spots to park in including wheelchair/disabled parking. There is also wheelchair accessibility in the restaurant.
They have a complimentary appetizer which is their very own garlic bread. It also comes with a side of butter. It was very soft and fluffy. My guest and I had both ordered a big thanksgiving plate they had on their menu. I was very happy to be able to take some home and continue enjoying the food. Their lobster, rice, vegetables, shrimp. Almost everything tasted spectacular. Their mango lemonade was also the best I’ve ever had. I wasn’t a huge fan of their parrot bay coconut shrimp unfortunately.
I really enjoyed the environment because there was a lot of families and friends which makes it feel like a little community.
I did want to comment on the fact that their utensils were not clean so please just make sure you’re thoroughly washing your dishes before you serve them to customers.
In the end I enjoyed my experience at this restaurant! Although the big plates were on the pricier side the quality was worth it. I would continue coming here every once in a while and to my Sonoma county people I would consider doing the same!
For a nationwide chain, this place is pretty good. I've ordered a wide variety of things over the years and have always found the food to be fresh, delicious, and satisfying. Now, it doesn't compare to a nice place on the coast, but if you're craving a good seafood feast, this will definitely scratch the itch. And those Cheddar Bay biscuits? Forget about it!

Ok!! So first off. I haven’t been here in forever, but figured I’d give it a try. So, my experience was amazing our server was super attentive, friendly and accommodating. Made really good recommendations and made sure everyone was happy, other tables as well. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was really nice. I’ll be back soon.
Looked like we were there before their dinner crew showed up. So service was spotty to start. We were there at 5:20pm Saturday night. At 6 p.m., their dinner staff showed up and that got better. Food was excellent. Servers were always happy. Will definitely go back.
I have always enjoyed Red Lobster ever since I was child. Even though this is a franchise restaurant. This still ranks as one of my favorite restaurants; Mainly because I love seafood and cheddar Bay biscuits 😋. The menu used to be to overwhelming with not that great of options, fast forward to the current: The menu is more simplified and easier to make choices. The prices aren't inexpensive and are higher. However the there is a noticeable difference in the quality of ingredients from 5 years ago to now. The service was good and the food was great. The only thing that was annoying towards my last visit was there was some lonely lady playing a podcast out loud behind me. The staff should note this is extremely annoying to other customers and something should be said and or move the lady to a another part of the restaurant. I would have made a stink about it, but I was just finishing up my meal.
My wife and I decided to go to Red Lobster for Sunday lunch. What a great decision. We had not been there for quite awhile, and decided to treat ourselves to a great meal. We were not disappointed. We both ordered Shrimp Linguini Alfredo and endless Argentine Red Shrimp. Everything was marvelous. The Cheddar Bay Biscuits are an awesome treat and set the tone for the fabulous main course. Red Lobster started out in Florida in 1968 and is now worldwide, offering high quality seafood at an affordable price.
Been 2nd time in 30 years I have been at a red lobster, was not bad, for 5 of us was almost 300.00 with tip and tax....very rich sauce butter, the Caesar was drenched in dressing overpowered the greens..made it wilted almost..not good..rolls was good, portions on sides was on small side , I am sure most of this type of food was frozen..it will be a while before I go back..everything was small size i.e. shrimp, lobster etc...if you are hungry craving shrimp etc..then this is your place..lots of calories..was ok and good enough
Their salads are good. Their shrimp pasta was so tasty! And I loved their bailey's coffee. Their service was friendly but a little slow. Had to wait a lot and had multiple waiters.
The shrimp I got and broccoli were very good. The service was mediocre. The server brought my food and never returned to the table. Another kind server finally come and helped me. Not sure whatever happened to my server. Restaurant was very clean inside and the bathrooms were clean. Would definitely eat here again
It's been years since I ate Red Lobster inside of a restaurant, instead of having a family bring some home back in Ohio. This was my wife and I eating in for my birthday and our first time here. The lobster was of course, great and my wife's lobster and shrip tacos were good - but the batter on the seafood had a tad bit too much salt. Dirrerent waiter asked us if this was our order when they came out with the food. So seemed they were not sure who ordered food. Over a good experience and the staff were nice and welcoming.
