Sadly this was not the same Slice of Pie of the past, my strawberry rhubarb pie was burnt and inedible with a mushy glob in the middle and the apple crumb was not worth the high price. I give it 2 stars because my husband said his Boston Cream Pie was good.
I’m an apple pie fanatic, so my choice of American apple pie was easy. But they have sooo many other options as well. The crust was superb, and the apples were sweet and well-flavored. Ordered the apple pie. Taste was good but instead of apple slices it was more like apple sauce. Crust was a little overcooked but still tasted good. I would have loved to sit inside the restaurant and eat but the air was set at 87 and it was just too hot.
A Slice of Pie is the best restaurant in Rolla. I moved away 10 years ago, but every time I come back, I have to have it.

OH MY WORD!! No wonder this place is so busy! Those are not tiny to go containers,but those ARE one slice in each! Best apple 🍎 🥧 pie I've ever tasted. The coconut creme was yummy too. They even have lunch type foods. They also have cakes, cheesecakes, more pies.....oh my! Open till 8pm.
Surprised at the prices. A whole pie was over $30 and a slice was around $8. Wife and I got two bowls of potato soup and two slices of pie and it came to over $40. Pies were good but the soup tasted like something that was pulled out of a freezer and lacked much flavor.
