Unbelievably good, and the slices are huge, no make that Flintstone Cartoon huge. The slice is I'm guessing 1/4 of the pie, or a quarter of an average sized pie, and it is around $6 with tax, and plenty for two.
They do have a half slice that is just slightly less expensive, but I would go with the full slice, as there is nothing wrong with leftover pie later. This is an old fashioned made with the best stuff, and is massive in size. If I had a restaurant in the area there would be no need to make your own pies, this place does it right and has a lot of choices.
Only downside is it is not the easiest place to find the first time, (but isn't far off I-44),even though it does have a sign out front, and it is a cash only place (and there is an ATM across the street if you forget). But if you are anywhere in the area this is definitely a place you want to stop and get a slice or two to go!
Best "f-in" pie in the entire world!. I dare you to find a piece of pie here that isn't better than anything you've ever made, your Mom's ever made or your Grama's ever made!! (Ok, maybe that was a little harsh, Grama's pies are always best!)
If you love pie (who doesn't?), you must stop in and have some. Huge portions! Excellent crust on the fruit pies. Everything was exceptional. Nice people working the counter. This place made us happy!
Delicious! Portion size is huge and well worth the money. U get a large slice of pie (equivalent to about 2 regular size slices) for just under 5 bucks. Definitely recommend! The Tahitian creme is my favorite :)
Love this place! Be warned before you go- there may be a wait, it's well worth the wait AND they only take cash (& possibly local checks?)
Yummy! Worth $4.15 for slice of pie I laugh at reviews that think it's expensive - I guess they've never been to Cheesecake Factory?!

Pretty expensive.... I've only been here a few times and I've always thought their pies were ridiculously expensive, but taste pretty good. I would only ever get a whole pie there for a special occasion or something, since it's a pretty hefty price to pay per slice not to mention per pie. Then again, the French silk pie I got there was almost too rich to eat a whole slice at once, so maybe per slice is ok with some people every once in a while...
Best Pie in Missouri. I was told at the hotel that they had the best pie in Missouri by a vote.... I drove there and at over $6 a slice I balked a bit. Its a little corner shop next to a laundry mat.... The pie I tried was pecan, it was the best pie I've ever had (I've ate a lot of them over the years, lol). When I go back through Missouri I'll get another piece and it'll be worth every penny. I recommend this place hands down, the best pie in Missouri.
Yummy deliciousness!. A Slice of Pie has a cult following among the Rolla faithful. Everybody knows how amazing this hole in a wall pie shop is. I highly recommend the Toll House Pie!
Best Pie EVER. If you are ever in the Rolla area, and don't try this place, you are missing out. Their pies are incredible. I have been there quite a few times, as I used to live in Rolla, and have never been disappointed. Today I tried their Strawberry Rhubarb and it was awesome. I found the help to be friendly and courteous...and have never been treated rudely. The slices are very generous. I always eat 1/2 now and save the rest for later. This is one place I don't mind forking over the $ for. I would rate it with more stars if I could.
Jefferson City misses you, A Slice of Pie!. I was heartbroken the day I discovered A Slice of Pie was no longer in Jefferson City. I've only been there once, but it was delicious. I had a slice of chocolate mousse pie and my grandma had lemon meringue. My slice was excellent and she said hers was the best lemon meringue she'd had in years. My mom was there as well, but I can't remember what she ordered anymore. It's been about two years since our visit. However, it left an impression on all three of us. My mom even drove all the way out to Rolla to buy her boyfriend a blackberry birthday pie!
It's a good thing their pies are so good because their cashiers are surly!!!

Good dessert. MMMMMM. Yum. Actually, I've never had pie from Slice of Pie. Their cheesecake is so good I have to get it every time.

The only problem with this place is choosing what type of pie you want to eat! My family and I all had something different and all of it was delectable! If you have a sweet tooth or a want for pie then this is the place for you!

Only pie - gotta be good. Actually they have a couple of pasta entrees in addition to the pies, but the pies have kept them in business for 20 years. Truly excellent.
Delicious! And in Rolla?! I found this place because FEAST/SAUCE magazine recommended it, and wow did they live up to the expectations. The crusts are so flaky and the fillings are so rich and full of flavor. Lots of options, decent prices and easy location access. I only tried a couple slices, but we'll be back for sure!
I’m an apple pie fanatic, so my choice of American apple pie was easy. But they have sooo many other options as well. The crust was superb, and the apples were sweet and well-flavored. Plus, the servings are huge! I got a half-slice (see picture), so I have no idea how big the whole slice is. Either way, very worth it!
They continue to be the BEST PIE in Missouri!!
We stop by (go out of our way) every chance we get to pick up one of their culinary delights! ALL of it is excellent; love the coconut cream, and the cherry/raspberry. Apple is always great, too. We are so happy they continue a long-time tradition of excellent, fresh, homemade pie!!!!
A Slice of Pie is the best restaurant in Rolla. I moved away 10 years ago, but every time I come back, I have to have it.
This was my first visit to the new location. While it’s not the same, it’s a much needed change. It’s no longer a hole in the wall attached to a laundromat – it’s now very visible off a main stretch of road. The space inside is massive in comparison to before – plenty of space for all.
They have “half slices” (which are bigger than a half slice) and “whole slices” for $1 more, so always go for the whole slice even though it’s not technically double the pie.
My favorite is the Toll House, a chocolate chip cookie pie piled high with homemade whipped cream. But really, you can’t go wrong.
OH MY WORD!! No wonder this place is so busy! Those are not tiny to go containers,but those ARE one slice in each! Best apple 🍎 🥧 pie I've ever tasted. The coconut creme was yummy too. They even have lunch type foods. They also have cakes, cheesecakes, more pies.....oh my! Open till 8pm.
