We had the best waiter, Keith. He was efficient, accurate and most of all paid attention to what folks wanted. I'll be honest I've come to the Savoy a lot, but NEVER had such great service.

The best restaurant in Rome New York. We had our daughters sweet 16 Birthday party there this evening and everything was perfect. Staff is friendly, food is great, and every “ask” we made while planning was delivered upon during our event. We will continue to patronize this business and my suggestion is you do too. -Thank you. I love this place! The food is always spot on, the service is impeccable and the decor is fitting for a place that has existed since the early 1900's.
Where else can you sit on a nice Covered deck. Order a Huge pizza for $14. Outdoor bar. Friendly staff. And a band. This is my Wednesday night hotspot. Can’t wait to go again next week with my girls.
had a delicious dinner after an art opening at the Rome Art and Community Center. Dinner was excellent as was the service. We enjoyed a bottle of wine, motivated by the restaurant's donation to a local food pantry because we did!! If you're in the Rome NY area, we'd recommend The Savoy.....3rd generation we read....
Was on a Covered Wagon tour bus, we stopped for dinner. Had a delicious meal. The service was excellent. I love the piano music....

We have been patrons of the Savoy for over 20 years. With Covid we have not been going out much. The last time we went to the Savoy was in January 2020. We dined there last night and it was DELICIOUS! I didn’t realize his much I missed this restaurant. Margaret has always been our server but she was not available last night. Mandy was our server and she did as good a job as Margaret does. I had Penne Orlando and it was one of the best pasta dishes I have ever had!
The Savoy has a great ambiance and super employees. If you are looking for a restaurant with ambiance, delicious and plentiful food at reasonable prices I recommend you try the Savoy!!
The food was absolutely delicious. My husband and I both had the Steak Savoy . Was tender and tasty, greens were perfectly seasoned. I recommend this place to anyone.

We sailed into Rome on The Erie Canal and only had enough time to go out for dinner. We chose Savoy as it appeared to carry the most charm of any option in town. And though we didn't explore much of Rome NY we feel that experiencing Savoy has to be the #1 experience in Rome. Just a class act restaurant that has nice table cloth and the waiters wear a nice apron, but they also have a TShirt. Casually classy might be the way to describe it.
But what really sets it apart is the food and the service. Friendly staff and great pasta really left us feeling like our short stay in Rome was complete.
Two of us had the Savoy Spaghetti and meat balls. Including a small salad was a nice old school touch. There was only 1 big meat ball but there was also a nice chunk of Italian sausage. But you wouldn't feel skimped in the slightest. The abundance of green peppers onions and mushrooms makes every bite of pasta just fresh and deliteful.
The decor is classic, and you can see famous people have been here before again just reinforcing this is the top experience you can have in Rome.
We were stuffed but the Creme Brulee sounded too good. Home made it was very possibly the best creme brulee I have ever had and my dad owns a restaurant and it's his favorite dessert too!
I definitely hope to return someday.
First time dining at the Savoy. Great experience. I wish I grabbed some pics of the food, but I would felt a little outta place maybe. It's not a quick place to run in have a quick meal. It's a sit down with a bottle of wine and enjoy your candle light dinner listening to the piano player. The steak savoy was great, 4 steak medallions over a bed of mozzarella and greens. Wife had the chicken marsalla. Both excellent dishes cooked perfect. Greens rival Georgia's for best I ever had. Fried provolone appetizer and a kids meal total was $69 with 2beers. Well worth it. Will be back again!!! Server was great too!

I grew up in Rome, but hadn't been there in 45 years. It was a must that I return to The Savoy where my parents used to take me. The decor, ambience, service and food were as good as I had remembered. As I basked in memories from my childhood, the staff made my experience a personal one. The Savoy remains a landmark that Rome can be proud of!
Excellent atmosphere, service, and food. Chicken Parm was absolutely delicious as well as the tiramisu that completed the meal. Very charming on the inside and seating is very well set up. Give it a try if you haven't.
